Ship customization bug

Not sure if anyone else is getting this bug but seems like everytime I try to customize my ship it says 'Outfit uses invalid parts' I've tried switching toons but everytime it says the same thing. If anyone else is having this problem or has figured out a way around this problem please let me know.

    I am also having this problem when I try to customize either the Tier 4 Bird of Prey or the Mirror Quin Raptor.

    Please sort this as customization is a big part of what makes this game so enjoyable :(

    EDIT: I am now also getting this bug on my Federation character when I try to customize my Vesta class.

    When I try to change the way my ship looks for some reason it cost 750 Zen, with every ship....:mad:

    Yes I'm getting the 750 zen bug with both my new toons (Rom and KDF). Really annoying as customisation is one of the best aspects of the STO starships. I read somewhere that this has been a recurring bug for a long time, but it's the first time I've come across it. Is there a fix in the pipeline please, Cryptic?

    I hope I don't come across this 750 Zen bug, at the moment it only wants EC from me, but when I click "Buy" the window closes and it says "Outfit uses invalid parts", my changes are then lost.

    Same here i keep getting that message on my klingon character but not on my Federation or my Romulan character.

    Two of my ground uniforms are suddenly doing this now too, after the patch this morning. I cannot switch to use either of them, edits to them are not saved, and whenever I try to rename one of them I get an error message saying: "Outfit uses invalid parts."

    Looks like it's not just a ship problem anymore!

    I am getting that bug as well now, the bug with the ships also remains!

    I'm a n00b and having this problem. I bought some ZEN to try and throw at the 750 problem but to no avail, I still can't mutilate my Miranda. I don't really want to play the game until this is fixed. YOU JUST LOST AN F2P CUSTOMER! :mad:

    I don't know if this problem has spread but it seems to be affecting outfits now.
    I think I might have even did the wrong bug report option for this idk.

    After reading these posts I think it's a common type of UI bug that is tied into this invalid objects bug.

    If an admin reads this post or not idk but I have this problem only on one of my characters it does not seem to be affecting any others. Which I find very odd.

    And for me it's affecting my winter coat item in my inventory. I can not switch to the outfit in question I can however make more outfits to temp fix it but I would prefer to have this bug fixed eventually. Due to the fact I want to keep my Player Character personal I will not say the name however if I could address this issue to a developer that would be nice.

    Got the "Selected outfit needs to be purchased" message when I tried changing my Escort Carrier costume from Akira to Armitage....very annoying.

    Its been over a year and it is still doing this bug, guess devs/whoever dont read these after all.

    Get me the name@handle of the affected character along with what costume(s) with which you are seeing this happen and I'll look into it.

    Hi, I tried to put on "The Wrath of Kahn Movie Uniform" on my male Caitian and got this error msg.
    Apply to Character works, the error appears when i press the purchase button.

    then i used the advanced mode and it worked ... no error
