loading screen / server not responding

I'm in the middle of the coliseum mission where you go from the satellite to the arena, I think the mission sub part is called Fight for your right, I am stuck at the loading screen with the server not responding message.
It started doing this this morning before server maintenance and I figured it was going to be fixed but I logged in about an hour ago and it's still doing it. I log out, wait about ten minutes and log back in. It puts me back in sector space. I click on continue mission and I'm stuck on the loading screen again.
I even tried dropping the mission and replayed from the beginning but I get to the same point and the same thing happens and I never get kicked from the server. It's currently at 971 seconds and it says patching 1 file 0bytes in the left top of the screen.
some help would be nice.
