The space segment of The Undying is bugged. I've tried it multiple times and it doesn't work.
Every time I get to "Engage and Defeat Hassan's Dreadnought", I get a circle on the map for where to go but no ships spawns and there is no way to advance the mission. It says I've completed the other steps (rally pirates, defeat syndicate assault forces), but I also keep hearing one of the sound files randomly "I don't like Hassan any more than you do" or something, it's one of the pirate dialogues, and it seems to play randomly at this point.
Also, in game bug reporting is bugged and you can't submit a ticket on this apparently. For real?

I had run into this, but if you look around in that circle area, Hassan's ship is there. It's just an untargetable object. I found it a few KM straight up from where I was. Once I got close, it let me hail him, which after the conversation starts the fight. Also watch out if you're trying to take him alive, he escapes on a fighter and if you make that choice you have to beam him aboard from it. However, the fighter moves around and the interaction for the beaming isn't centered on it. It's actually located in a small map marker within the center of the objective circle. So make sure you fly close to that to do it, disregard the fighter's movements.
I ran the mission three times without success, and I'm not sure it's something as simple as "he's just cloaked". The weird voice over popups seemed wrong too. Like something went wrong in the counter on getting your pirate allies which messed up a later step in the mission.

Expanding on the above, I think I found where the problem is.
There's a Reman ship you have to save that turns out to be carrying the Tholaron Triggers. If you save it fisrt, it sets the pirate counter to one even though that guy doesn't join you, he takes off. Then when the counter reads 5, it jams the mission because you only actually have 4 of the 5 allies.
By not going to the Reman first, the mission works normally, but if I go straight to the Reman, it doesn't.

I saved the Reman first and it worked fine. I just had to search higher for the ship. It was there just couldn't target it and it was hard to find. I only had 4 ships with me when I found him.
I haven't had any problems completing this mission and I've done it on 3 separate characters.
But Hassan's ship can be hard to find. It is just sitting idle. I think the problem is that his ship doesn't have a name above it so you have to really look around for it where the map marker shows you he is. If they had his name above the ship it would be easier to find.
I can't even get to the location on the map. I tried each side of the desert and I cannot get to the marker where I am supposed to find Hassan. And I also have completed everything. This mission is ridiculous. Why make a mission annoying? Making a mission hard is one thing and is fine, But making a mission annoying is absolute BS.
Completed this mission houndreds of times without any problem.
You keep recruiting raiders, and in the end, you need to fight the Hassan ship. It is not a targeteable ship, you just need to approach him until the mission marker activates and you can fight him.
But there is not a big deal, it is just a big spot on the space, you cant miss it... even without any mission mark.

I use to do the reman first most of the times and i never had a problem. The last time i completed this mission was about 4 days ago.
