STO at 56k speed and unable to log in

takes ages to load up all the menu's, running at 56k speed ?

when trying to log in - retrieving list of maps - followed by - log in fail due to unknowen reason

now after the 5th attempt i made it to the loading screen but that also timed out !

    well your first problem is using 56k speed... If you are still using dial up or whatever at 56k then that is a major problem... try using cable or dsl ... they can give you at least 1.5 mbps or higher. I am running cable modem with 7-10 mbps

    Im experiencing the same things these captains are....lag..."server has timed you out" "failure to log in for unknown reason" and as soon as I got in the sever would drop me. this didn't start until after this mornings patch. Oh....and while im posting...I noticed something else in the game yesterday when getting new bridge officers. When you Dismiss a boff from your ship, the stations list on your ship glitches and shows many more stations than the ship allows....I believe it should a station for every boff you have. Just an fyi ;) Thanks.
