Dear PvP Community,
Since the Pvp Community has had a great showing over the past few events Its is my honor as part of PvP Boot camp to Host its 3rd tourney, while I do understand the 2nd tourny does have some matches to complete before its over, I am hosting this for next month on the 23rd of june.

The most important thing is not to win but to take part! Please show that you are part of the PVP community and participate!

This Time there Is A few prizes.

1st Place Team will Receive 1000 zen EA.(Ill buy cards and email to winners)
2nd Place will Receive 5 mil ec ea
3rd Place Will Receive 1 mil ec ea

++Rules++
Alpha Rule : Must Use Only Rommy Ships(this is for 2 reasons(1 to get you guys to test and so I can get data I need for pvp site. and 2 to have a bit of fun)
We have decided to largely adopt the rules from the previous tournament:
01. Have fun - Most important
02. No siphon drones and Danube/Yellowstone pets (Not fun and skillfull)
03. No more than 3 of the same captains or ship types
04. No Boarding Parties (Broken)
05. No scramble sensors with the DOFFs (Without DOFFs no issue)
06. No Grav Pulse (AOE 50 second hold not fun)
07. Once you are in 1 team and have played, you cannot move to another

- Each match will last 30 minutes or first team to achieve 15 kills wins.
- The team with the highest kills will be counted as victors if the match lasts 30 minutes.
- The semi finals and the finale will last 45 minutes or 15 kills.

Please put down your name / Fleet / Team in this thread and nothing else.

If you dont like the rules, please don't derail the thread.

If the tournament takes more than 4 hours to finish, the (semi-)finals will be held on a later date.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, 23rd June, 2013
- German Time: 20:00 Uhr
- British Time: 19 o'clock
- East Coast Time: 2 p.m.
- West Coast Time: 11 a.m.

The PVP Boot Camp TeamSpeak-Server will serve as a hub (special thanks to Pheo)

Why not use all the cheap tricks in the tourney? You all use them in the pvp ques... oh i see, dont want to be the recipient of them. Gotcha.

cheap tricks, its all rommy ships and mainly for testing purposes, thats the main point of the tourny.

Also about gas, I dont really see the gas as an issues so Ill how many people ask for that and it may be changed but it will have to be a majority.

How would this be run Spells, everyone turn up on the day or spread out?

Because right now this "sort it out amongst yourselves" thing we're doing is more trouble then it's worth...

spread out trough a parring fomat, Ill get spread sheet up on th 1 st which is 20 days before the tourny.

Basically the 16 will be parred lets say that day, then they will face 2 more times to get the cut wieght. which would lead most likly to top 4 spots if not 2. then they will face eachother in 2/3x win format.
we pick winners that won.

I know the guys I play with don't use cheap tactics. We will use abilities that may be deemed OP if they are used on us. Otherwise we run a tight fun ship. Losing in a Q match happens. Losing to a more coordinated team happens. Losing to a team that pulls all the stops on items, happens. It's a game.

Spells, Team X will likely participate if the LOR launch isn't overly PVE centric. It's hard enough keeping up with my 20+ toons not exactly looking forward to making another. However I have some ideas for a Romulan so could be a good chance to test it
