Rom T5 Rep not unlocking Reman

Correct me if I am wrong but I noticed when creating my Romulan, that I was unable to choose Remans. Despite me reading (again correct me if I am wrong) that if one of your characters gets T5 With New Romulus it unlocks it for free.

Am I missing something or am I wrong on this?

    Same thing here, not just you. I ended up paying the 1000 Zen for it on accident, thinking it would be free since I have a Fed toon with t5 Romulan reputation.

    Start and finish a project or cancel one should make it work

    If you have Rom T5, just start and cancel any project, this will also unlock Transwarp to New Romulas which is a newly added T1 reward.

    Hurray got my reman, but the transwarp did not unlock, any tips?
