    It is on Tribble, just have to copy a few characters that have a few keys and transfer then to a single character there and repeat till you get as many as you want to test.

    He may have copied it once, 10 times or 2000 times.

    How is it possible you had the TIME to open 6000 boxes?

    As suspected, 1/200 chance of getting the ship.

    It's a good way to test things like this without spending a lot of money.

    It's also why people asking to copy their characters over from Tribble to Holodeck make me roll my eyes.

    Excellent work! This is in line with what I expected and its always nice to have statistical analysis to confirm it.

    I didn't do it yet, since it would involve a bunch of other stuff that has to be added to the wiki too. Articles for the lockbox itself, each item in it, uploading files for each new item, etc. etc.

    Yeah, the wiki is going to need a lot of work. New talent system, new interface, new reputation, new faction, new races, new lockbox + ships...

    Ugh, didn't expect the traits to be so rare. Got a helmsmen trait yesterday and put it on the exchange right before the server crashed. I'm afraid I've put it up for way too cheaply and now I can't login for another 6 hours because I'm stuck at work >_<

    Since it was on tribble and I needed the inventory space I put them on the exchange for 1 EC, leaving me with a lot of undeleteable exchange spam in my mailbox. :P

    ....so the trait perks are rarer than the d*mn ship?....geez I got a few of 'em......would've rather had the ship....oh well......

    Thankls for the effort. I was thinking in buying some keys myself to get the ship after hearing about some people who got the ship after just a few tries. But seeing your data make me think they were just lucky. Probably I'll go through the usual route of buying it from exchange.

    Those percentage figures just prove that the lockboxes are a tax on stupid people.

    0.5% chance for the decent prize?

    over 95% chance for complete garbage?

    Don't know how their legal department gets away with this TRIBBLE.

    95% worthless means the other 5% has to be worth 20 times what people pay for a key.

    200 boxes on average to get a ship would cost about $200. That seem worth it to ANYONE? The only upside being you guarantee a lobi store ship if you are dumb enough to try it.

    Don't forget that there are several people who use the Dii to Zen exchange, and open lockboxes that way, or just purchase keys off the exchange with energy credits.
