Please note that this FAQ contains a full list of possible prizes that can be won from opening a Tal Shiar Lock Box, as well as a list of new items being added to the Lobi store.
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
not sure this has been mentioned but I thought I would anyway.
Q: What are the odds for getting each of the rewards in the Lock Box?
A: We are not providing exact numbers the prizes contained within the Tal Shiar Lock Box. The average value for a normal Lock Box is around 175 Zen.
how is this so??? an individual master key costs 125 zen. so how have you determined the average value being 175? just curious.
also considering romulans of either divide, RR, RSE or tal shiar. they all seem to have very powerful ships? yet romulans need an alliance for shipyard access??
Brandon (if you're still watching), now that the mirror Ha'Apax stats are listed as known bug (on the patch notes). Since you're checking on other stuff (EPtX), could you also ask the devs if the Mirror Ha'feh is meant to have the same boff layout as the prime universe one?
I.E. Is it meant to have an Ensign Engineer rather than a Science one?
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
I was really really hoping for a borg sphere... two non-canon ships aren't going to do well for sales I suspect, regardless of cool-factor (in appearance) or boff layout (and from what I'm reading in the comments on that actual page, the boff layout isn't highly desirable either, though I like it). Borg Sphere should've been the grand prize, with a recognizable assimilate/adapted ship as the lobi store prize imho. Or vice versa. Still... I'm probably going to get one of these ships eventually. They look tasty for no win fodder.
These two ships looks amazing. I cant wait to fly them.
as for complaints about flying tal shiar ships. these are not your typical romulan ships. they would never be part of the romulan republic military so i have no issue with them.
.
Except when Romulan Republic players get their hands on them of course.
Cryptic banks on the Narada's popularity and it's implied OPness to sell these.;)
Not really interested in the Ships, well other than the mirror Ha'apax.
Now the Traits and Nanite Disruptors give me please. Helmsman trait I especially want you.
To this date the only Lock Box ships I have are the Temporal ones, and those only the KDF versions.
I like the consoles on these Tal Shiar Lock Box ships, especially the idea of the Shrapnel Torpedo. I don't know maybe I will eventually pick up that Tal Shiar Battle Cruiser for my Romulan Looking KDF Tact, but I very highly doubt it.
I just wish these Tal Shiar ships could use the skins of the Normal ships they were modified from. As it is they look like Shadow Vessels from Babylon 5.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

I cannot stand flying a ship with a base turn of less than 9.
Bear in mind that the Starship Impulse Thrusters skill as well as all of the turn rate boost consoles got a fairly large boost in effectiveness in LoR, especially on slower ships. Maxxed out with Mk XI blue RCS consoles and a Tachyokinetic Converter, I was able to get my Atrox all the way up to a turn rate of 16, my Excelsior up to 23, and I saw someone say they got a D'Kora up to 35. That's obviously a big sacrifice in other consoles, but the point is that the gains per console are pretty significant now on the slower ships.

Based on what they would charge you for the contents (which, in turn, is probably based on the ships being worth $200 each).
Basically, they have a value for the various items.
A DOff minipack is worth half what a DOff pack would cost. They have a monetary value for what just about everything in the game is worth, including dilithium items. Some of these we can determine by comparing to C-Store items. Some may be determined based on the cost of obtaining the item via lockbox.
Should have 1 Ensign Science instead of 1 Ensign Engineer
Ha'apax Advanced Warbird:
Console Modifications: Should have this console configuration: 2 Tactical, 4 Engineering, 3 Science (not 3 Tactical, 2 Engineering, 4 Science)

I assume you mean the Mirror Ha'apax Advanced Warbird. Then it all finally makes sense.
I'll gladly get some Mirror warbirds for future toons.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
what exactly is the difference with the mirror warbirds? I have a MIRROR Ha'apax...which is the Eng Focused warbird for the prime version.....yet the mirror version is EXACTLY the same even with the console slots......why would i want to open a mirror ship that has the same seating as the one i could get for free if i so chose to?
yes it may have a unique bridge and different material choice (if the bridges are like the tal shiar ones) but shouldnt they follow the rest of the mirror ships and have different boff seating and console configs?

Are you saying your Mirror Ha'apax has 3 tac, 4 eng, 2 sci console slots and Comm and Lt.Comm Eng, Lt. and Ens. Tac and Lt. Sci Boff slots? Those should be the stats of the prime universe Ha'apax.
The Mirror Ha'apax should have 3 sci console slots and Ens. Sci instead.

I would have opened 200 boxes but I stopped at 100 and won't open another - why NO SHIP!! - No just kidding - I know the odds - what really would make this better is a "Romulan Purple Doff pack - like the Dominion one.
Yes I know the have the command code thing to run a doff mission - but you are not guarenteed to get a purple Romulan/Reman doff - but with the purple doff pack you are.
If I were them I would make one up real quick and add it to the box - I am tired off all the Fed/KDF doffs coming from the fleet/mini packs that drop.
Might add some more boost to the life of this Lock-box.

As I cant open it yet, im basing what i see of the description....and yes that is exactly what im saying....which means that the descriptions are wrong if it DOES have different seating....which also means that you dont know what the layout is until you open it. But if it truly does have different seating then the descriptions are borked big time, as it is the same issue with the other mirror warbirds....I'll open it once i get to level 40 as im currently lvl 30
the ONLY difference is a ens sci instead of a ens tac -_- in the description....and supposedly from the dev blog a different bridge interior.
sort of sucks IMO....definently NOT like the other mirror ships...
My only complaint with these ships is the fact that there is no Warbird Variant of them that could be traded in for once the Battle Cruiser or Destroyer is purchased and opened by a Romulan it could have a Singularity core instead of the Warp core which could be added to the set, and be a Warbird capable of using the Romulan consoles. The Singularity Core could be identical to the Warp Core but able to use singularity powers and switch the auxiliary bonus on it for the warp core charge speed and warp core power reset speed bonuses. Also the Singularity core could be added to the existing set and the set could just use the two and three piece bonuses as it does now. Also, if deemed necessary the Shield modifier could be dropped down to 1.2 or 1.25 to accommodate this.

Then please bug report it and try to open it, when you can (on Tribble, for example). Sadly, many descriptions in game, on the C-Store and elsewhere are wrong.

The mirror Ha'Apax should really have 2 tac, 3 sci consoles and the Ens sci Boff slot, as clearly stated here (and as makes most sense): http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=693191 .
