I think that all forces Fed Klingon and Romulan should get a massive rehoul of there hsips and new ships added. Take the Romulan ships a Romulan Raptor should be added before the Warbird type B (D'Deridex class). And the Klingon get more of the older type D7 ships or some new ones don't now there ships too well and the Federation get Ships from the TNG era. Here is a few pics of the Romulan Raptor I am talking about.

I hope those proposed Study models don't necessarily count as Constitutions, and can be made. I'd have absolutely no issue opening up a couple of ship slots for some of these myself. From what I read, since they both appeared in the series, they can be considered canon too!

When it comes to the federation, it seems that there are many things to look at that come from canon.
These ships are not likely, as they're from other games. Cryptic has said in the past that there are licensing issues that present what are an essentially insurmountable hurdle preventing them from using anything that hasn't appeared on-screen (in the five series and the non-JJ movies), in the comics (a little hit and miss, but there's precedent), or in the novels (again, a little hit-or-miss, but more likely).
Some of the other stuff in this thread is interesting, but it's pretty obvious why some of those models got largely left on the cutting room floor.

Seeing as the Drake was never shown and in fact had been destroyed prior to the Enterprise's arrival there really can't be a picture of the USS Drake now can there.

(Fairly lousy card BTW, only useful with it's matching Captain and Captain's Log in play. The generic Nebula class is better).
The class name only comes from the Encyclopedia, so it is somewhere between 1st and 2nd level canon. In the show it was called a light cruiser.

Whoa, what's with the yelling? To be honest, it isn't as the non-canon Patrol Escorts are winning any beauty contests themselves in my eyes, and they seem to be in the game just fine, and have quite a few players using them. Besides, it isn't as if they'll force you to be in one. There is also a lot of folks who'd Love the Jupiter class to be playable too (count me in, I want my warp blimp, though that's for a different thread of course), just as there are people who'd rather see it vanish from the game. It's like Marmite, you either like it or you don't.
You have to admit, some of those Excelsior study models were really nice, and may work nicely, granted, they may have to think up for names for them too.
