Featured Project Rerun Ending [Now Ended]

Since early May, previously run Starbase and Embassy Featured Projects have been available for fleets to slot and complete. Start your projects soon as this promo warps away this Thursday, June 20th, when server maintenance starts.

If your fleet has missed out on a past project, now is your chance to upgrade the interiors of your holdings!

    By queuing them in the Special tab on the fleet/embassy starbase menu. ;)

    Yes, pricing is the same for these.

    Mmm, I have to admit I'm not too pleased to hear that, but I suppose it makes sense with the recent infusion of dil from the CE event. In any case thanks for letting me know. :)

    This is nice and all, but now that "phase one" of the starbase interiors is done, could we please get phase two?

    Such as;

    a Holodeck that acts as foundry or mission replay portal

    an ACTUAL shuttlebay on the starbase that links to the embassy and/or other future holdings

    The ability for fleet officers to control what decorative items are actively displayed in the base via options in the fleet settings tabs

    A basic level consumables vendor for both ground and space items in the vendor area

    A crafting console added to the engineering deck

    I understand that you are finishing the expansion. But after that, when you start working on romulan fleets/starbases (as was mentioned by D'sthal) or when the next holding comes out, please do consider making those adjustments to the bases.

    how on earth are you expected to do these when the bloody server keeps crashing cryptic ? , it is about time you reduce the cost of these we think ;)

    Embassy and starbase projects are nice, but the price to finish is really too high for small fleets.

    Reruns helps? Not to much. The price are the same, and is hard to find ways to raish 200k dilithium without spending zen or moving the whole fleet to forget better and more usefull (and cheap) projects.

    I was hoping for this to come one day (all done on Fed fleet, but missed some on kdf fleet), but is it really logical to do this before LoR. With the extension, many fleets will be created after may 21st.

    Even for a small fleet, 200k dil is not a lot. It takes maybe an hour to earn a day's worth of dilithium, even if you only have 5 members in your fleet, that's only 5 days of dilithium.


    The price to finish is not high at all. I'm in a nine player fleet, and we've gotten all of the optional Starbase upgrades, when they came out. it's a matter of people being greedy with their dil and wanting someone else to do the project for them.

    So my Vulcan buddy and I have been wondering, if the starbase projects are at an end, what this plug is for...

    Well this is a kick in the teeth Brandon, IMO. Myself and a few others distinctively recall Cryptic saying that all re-runs would be done at 100k. Again, everything seems a little cryptic at times with decisions. We'll be giving these projects a miss, as we've got important upgrades to do and the lack in starbase customisation and the costing for the special projects isn't worth the time personally.

    I can only hope that this is getting reviewed or at least will do in the future. I'd love to put that conference room somewhere else or at least get rid of those horrid glass walls and have something that felt like it was meant for private fleet meetings lol.

    This is an unlockable project with tier 2 embassy, is it not?

    Neat! I think the only thing our fleet was missing out of base and embassy was the 'Belongs In a Museum' As soon as this is up we'll knock that one out too :)

    Yes. At tier 2 Embassy you unlock the ability to travel between your fleet embassy and starbase. But I think what the person you quoted was asking about was if starbases would eventually have a shuttlebay added to them just like the embassy. (In your embassy, take the turbolift in the hall right across from the transporter room in the lobby to go to the shuttlebay.) http://sto.gamepedia.com/Fleet_Embassy#Shuttlebay

    Luckily my fleet has completed all of these. I think we have the last Embassy one in progress at the moment.

    Anyway I was wondering if there was any update to when the next FE rerun would be? I have one toon (of 7) that just missed some of the items from last time it was on. I'd love to get it out of the way before LoR hits.

    not to impressed thats it's still 200k surely it sould be discounted since this is a rerun

    Cool cool shame i have solo'd all but the one i never wanted(clothes show on my starbase? neva!) here's waiting till the 21st for cool new things :)

    Only request is if we could have optional ones as insted of clothes show something a little more fitting the main deck to a starbase cought ip in the frontlines of a war.

    Wouldn't count on that. Even aside from the fact that your timetable only leaves them two weeks, it just makes more sense for them to do a feature episode rerun a few weeks or a month after the launch of LoR, so all those new Romulan characters can get their shot in.

    You do if there isn't a this year's model car to compete with. As it stands, neither Cryptic nor any of its competitors has released any starbase projects with a better safety rating, fuel economy or passenger side ejector seat for them to undercut.

    If you talk to tribble-dude, he can clean up the entire starbase of tribbles (for that visit only, but still...)

    Now, if he were to move to the transporter room... :P

    But they did tell us originally that all the projects would re-run at half the price. Which is why I feel this is a kick in the teeth.

    wait ...people still do the foundry after that HORRID decision to add a 1 hour for 1 mission reward timer...I admit i DO find the spotlights fun.....but it still sucks having to wait 30+ mins after doing a foundry mission just to get any reward....it should have been 1 hour on that mission that was just done...not all of them.

    Yes 200k dilth IS a bit steep still...but with dilth:zen prices going up its almost x2 what you would be getting a couple months ago...
