Accessing Game Content from a website

So what ever happened to accessing game content like the doff missions from a website? There was a website that was supposed to be for looking at in game mail etc while not actually being loged onto the client, what ever happened to it?

    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    Is there anyway to get to it off of the main site? When I did an internet search I only get the dev blog post for the beta site and a few reviews from other sites.

    If I can't access stuff like this from the main site its makes me feel uneasy as to if its legit or not... no offense intended there.

    The link supplied above is from the main site

    Https:// --> Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (if memory serves)

    auth --> Authentication subdomain

    startrekonline -> Level 2 domain

    .com -> level 1 domain.

    How is that not the main site?

    If you don't feel thats legit, then you need to read up on how these things work.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Ok, I remembered something I read on internet websites looking like they should be good but ended up being one letter off and not being the right place to log in.

    I didn't know at the time how much it could be off by, like a period off or letter off or something.

    It works I can see me stuff thanks for the info. :)

    I'm wondering when I'll be able to access the doff missions or in-game mail if its planed.

    Gateway is currently in beta Stage... It's pretty basic and simple right now, but if memory serves you can contribute to Fleet Projects at this point.

    DuOff's and other stuff is considered for later.

    Neverwinter allows you to go on the Auction House and Professions (their version of the duty officer system/crafting) as well as the other features we get so we might see the same features eventually. Only problem is one of my characters has ' in their name and can't use the Profession system while I am away from my computer.

    Works on Opera, dolphin, chrome, photon and WebKit browsers on Android honeycomb thru jellybean at least, IIRC I was able to access it on the GB default browser as well. Dunno about iOS or windows phones.

    edit: it works on my WebOS phone as well, gotta love the palm pre.

    It works on tablets, though I remember some alignment issues with certain tablet/phone browsers that made it hard to log in correctly. Not sure if those are all fixed yet.
