I am.

I'm itching to really play the heck out of this thing when it comes out, and can't wait to get the rewards from it.

    Well, can't complain about the nice Dilithium reward.

    But I'm still not impressed with the changes on Tribble and think Cryptic is rushing again. That thing is still far from being PuG friendly.

    In theory, I'm not sure if it's been fine tuned enough for pugs yet though.

    For it to be pug proof it would need to be one shot, but my ls fleet is ready to take down the Tholion god.

    That giant snowflake is an enemy of life everywhere, an incarnation of an eldritch horror from the great beyond.... naturally Picard wanted to talk to it and ask it nicely to STOP wiping out planets.. /facepalm

    I want to like it, but we'll see when it hits live. After all, Cryptic's calling card is more or less incompleteness or halfassery. How many of us for a moment really bought into the whole "third faction" bit right?

    It's something that I've never bothered trying. Generally speaking, everything that I've enjoyed flying for over a year...is something you shouldn't take against CE.

    With the noted changes - it's something that I might actually give a go. Thus, I should probably offer my apologies to the STO world at large now, eh? :eek:

    It's last incarnation was a source of grindy pain for me, and I never saw that damn thing go down.

    Since then I've found a good fleet and fly better fitted ships. I'm sure the fleet will want to take it on, I'll probably volunteer if I'm around.

    Eh... Never actually tried it seriously before. I went up against it once or twice just to see what it looked like but the instructions given to you in the mission were less than helpful and I was not prepared for it then. After that I got the info on how to beat it and realized hardly any PUG could ever do it so I gave up the prospect of beating it altogether.

    I may give it another go now though.

    It was such a nightmare, I think anything would have been an improvement.

    Lucking forward to this reincarnation though, got my sci powers ready. :D

    I'm looking forward to it, yeah. Got one of my spare sci boffs that I never use set up with a selection of those powers that will be useful, so hopefully even if my pug is rubbish I'll be able to keep it's damage down to reasonable levels on my own. It should be fun, and if not it's only a mini-event so it's no big loss. I don't actually need the rewards anyway so I'd just be doing if for fun.

    I'm not so keen about a fight where I have to keep breaking away then coming back. No Fed cruiser can do that without losing a good facing!

    I've actually found this to be a lot easier in cruisers and sci ships than escorts...
