At least we know you guys do. I hope this info helps you understand why we feel the way we do. After my last time of trying this... I got in trouble for trolling/flamming. I am being my best to be calm here. And when you do get to read the link, please help us understand. We are an unhappy fan base... and we just want to know that we matter... and get stuff once in a while... and maybe get close to the FED side as it was intended to be from start.

Here's the thing - I don't think the problem is the STO Devs as, everytime they do KDF content; it's usually BETTER then the stuff on the Fed side. The issue is the Cryptic/PWE upper management and budget allocation/approval folks <--- These are the guys who give DStahl his development marching orders as it were and while he makes and oversees the development schedules - those above have to approve his plans before he puts them into motion (and he's tried to fight for some stuff that they've ultimately said 'no' to in the past), and I have a feeling whenever he brings up something new/only for the KDF faction, those in a position to approve respond with something along the lines of:
"Nope, sorry; the metrics don't support something like this -- no real ROI..."
That said, given those types ONLY look at the bottom line, I don't know how to get their attention as, if more KDF players quit - it just strengthens their view above further.:(

But the question is whether there's one that actually works.
Because right now it seems the same argument "you're not enough people to warrant even bug fixing" trumps (and subsequently closes off) all possible avenues.

I don't burn the devs in effigy. Heck, the only one I truly disliked was Gozer, because he made STFs unplayable and tried to tell the players that section 31 uniforms were "content."
I will still be critical of their work though. Bunny tagging isn't very Trek to me, after all.

They know it's an unhappy fan base. They're not doing much about it. At this point I'm prepared to have fun with what's there, and wait to see how they handle their growing Romulan problem. (And since they spent three years talking about metrics, it'll be thoroughly educational to see how they try that tactic once the Romulan problem fractures their metrics even further).
If 12% of the population isn't enough to warrant dev resources, what will 8% of the population be worth?
At the end of the day though I'm just reminded of Stormshade and DStahl's posts about how much Perfect World wants an engaging PvP experience in this game so that would turn things around for the KDF in terms of development.
That hasn't come to pass and doesn't appear like it was grounded in anything other than continued PR spin.

The problem is we get a lot of Feds calling us cry babies but they are just as bad I've lost count how many we want battle cloak threads. As for Season 8 IO'm not holding my breath fool me once shame on you fool me twice then shame on me. So I\'ll believe that the kdf will have content when I see it.

The feds get the lions share of attention and the KDF is getting ignored or at best just cheaply folded into new content = truth.
Dev ***** is a fed loving tree hugger who hates all things KDF and thats why we KDF fans constantly get overlooked = untruth.

I actually do like how the dreadlocks look on my female Klingon officers. But, yeah, there should definitely be more hairstyle options. Just take a look at the TOS Klingon women...don't get me started... hehe

Appears history is once again repeating itself, as above is from tribble patch played today. Our 'new' promised content is what many have been asking for: rebranded fed missions. My guess is all the fed missions will rebranded allowing the KDF to start from level 1.
Are we really surprised, obviously the expansion is a total waste, all fluff and no substance. How many times have people said that the federation written featured episodes are garbage now we get more. :mad:

If the content is taking federation missions and making them available to the KDF I don't have a problem with that because essentially that is what the KDF for years has wanted in some respects. The breaker for me is if I like it or don't like it is if the stories are told from a Klingon perspective I will like it but if its just a copy and paste then I wouldn't be too thrilled about it. They did impressive work on the missions the KDF does have atm on holodeck.
The only thing in my opinion besides having enough missions to level up with is the fact that we need a few more ship classes to match it up to what the feds are and what the Romulan Republic will eventually be. As well the Klingon Empire in its canon form is a highly spiritual and aggressive species. Time and time again if you rewatch any of these episodes/movies you will see that there is an equal amount of combat melee weapons as well as ones that serve purposes of combat and ritual type of weapons we do not have in the game and that is a big component missing as well.
OP watch it, The Devs don't like getting Called out over their past Quotes.

I know cause I had a "But Dstahl Said" thread that pointed out a lot MisQuote (with Links) that Tee'd me off at the time. You know the kind, say one thing one day and a month later say the opposite. Like the idiot that tried to rewrite the KDF history "Was always meant to be a PVP Faction" didn't last five minutes with all the ppl who had links to the very original Quote that stated both Sides were meant to be Full Factions.
Thread was locked then deleted and I was warned and lost "forum points", which is one step closer to being Banned
