CBS gives the OK for T-5 Connie

Just saw in another thread that CBS has given the go ahead for a T-5 Retrofit Constitution class starship....

"Given the immensely vocal support by the Star Trek Online playerbase for a max level version of our beloved Constitution Class Starship, CBS has given Cryptic Studios the thumbs up for the ship to be part of its next batch of Fleet variants for the Star Base progression system. Also, to be true to Star Trek Canon the Fleet Constitution Class Retrofit will come equipped with a Commander Science Bridge Officer slot. This is exciting news that many of us have been looking forward to for a very long time. Other statitics for the new ship variant have not been released."

    You are just really bored aren't you? The trick to a good April Fools joke is a mix of both plausibility and cleverness. This has neither. Try harder.

    April Fool's Jokes have to sound realistic since they only work if some people believe it. A tier 5 Constitution is just not realistic.

    I thought part of april fools's day was to make sools of people. No one would be fooled by a T5 connie announcement on april first.

    It'd be a nice ship if Cryptic could also put in a Corbomite Device. But then they would want 3500 Zen for it.
