Massive Graphic Lag with Romulan Turret / Flamethower

Got a 1MB GT430 NVIDIA Graphics Card, and got massive ammounts of graphic lag from encountering a Romulan Turret / Flamethrower in Colony Invasion that dropped my FPS significantly when it fired.

Hope you guys can tone down the particle effect.

    Hmm 1mb of ram in your video card? How do you even play any game with that? I think you mean 1GB ram....anyhow, i am in the same problem, and my video card has 1GB ram too, so yea cryptic needs to re tone the effects
