About the Typhoon, I don't really know what to say. But the Jupiter ? They should burn this ship, and erase it from memory. That's the most ugly thing ever seen in ST. Including the Kazons.

I don't want a Typhoon. It is an ugly ship. However, it is just a matter of time before they add ships that are restricted to Admirals. There is a limit to how much power we can get out of Tier 5 ships. Either the devs will have to do something interesting to get more oomph out of Tier 5 ships or add more level appropriate ships. At least with my idea, no matter what happens, all our favorite ships get use instead of people wasting hundreds of dollars on ships they never use anymore.
I could live with them selling a refit kit in the C-Store that updates Tier 5 ships to parity with Tier 6. that said there are a lot of tier 3 and tier 4 ships that also cost money but never got a boost when the Tier 5s arrived.
I want to see the level cap raised, I want to see new classes of ships and if that means that my Tier 5s will be out dated well so be it. If we want to have things locked down so that we don't have to spend anymore money or invest anymore time we may as well give up on going any higher than Vice Admiral and all those people whining about wanting more but at the same time not wanting what they have devalued, should can it, they can't have their cake and eat it too.

I wouldn't be opposed to T6 ships myself. I'm not sure where the idea comes from that a higher tier ship automatically means all ships below it are useless. I've stuck to T4 vessels for a long time during the endgame and they are every bit as capable as T5 ships.
With max level consoles, sets and weapons is their really that much of a difference what tier you fly? In top end competitive PvP perhaps, but elsewhere not so much. Anyhoo, back to topic.
The Jupiter is meh at best for me, but I'd like to see the Typhoon come into service as an alternative choice to the Fleet Assault Cruiser - similar stats but with 1000 crew, 5 eng consoles and 3 tac consoles. Not as much bite as the assault cruiser but more staying power.
The Typhoon is awesome, i remember when i was in testing of STO the Typhoon had no mesh on her in game. I think the ship is awesome looking, i would enjoy seeing this as a playable ship.
As for the Jupiter, that is just straight up wrong and should be blown up and erased from STO history. Who even made that atrocity?

I would take a Typhoon. If they made it playable. I agree, adjust it somewhat, add some additional details, some "skin" options. And I think it would make a sweet ship.
As for the Jupiter, I say pay the Malons to haul it to a dump somewhere.
