    That, is just awesome :D

And +1 for doing this on your spare time Thomas ;)
    Was named Trek17.

Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

That's great, but I think a better quote would have been:

Let's make sure history never forgets the name.... Enterprise.

Any chance of you guys ever adding 1366 X 768? My laptop screen argues with these resolutions!

I can easily see the one with all the Enterprises being an actual painting in Captain Shon's Ready Room.
How the Devs see Star Trek, apparently:
    Star Trek: The Original Grind
    Star Trek: The Next Grind
    Star Trek: Deep Space Grind
Star Trek: Voyage to the Grind

Very nice! What about one for the KDF side? Perhaps not just one focused around cruisers for next time also would be nice.

    That wallpaper is great!

I just wish some of JamJamz time could be spent fixing the Enterprise-A textures. It still has the old weapon hardpoint nodes on it, and the material is totally wrong for that ship. It doesn't have the Aztec pattern on it, and is even missing the hydroponics bay windows on the engineering hull.

1920 x 1080, please? :/ I hate gaps on the sides of my wallpaper. Even more than distortion.

"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them."

Laptop = wide screen. So no, unless you like the rubber band stretchy effect a whole lot.

You do realize this isn't technically a "Cruisers" Wallpaper. It is a wallpaper of all ships in starfleets history that have been named "Enterprise".

As for a KDF version, while I am all for a little love for the KDF side, in this case the specific theme doesn't not really led itself to a "KDF version"

Whether it is a weakness of the TV shows being Starfleet centric or not, the KDF does not have an identifiable Ship like the Enterprise. So even having a "Cruiser" wallpaper (d7, Vorcha, Neghvar, Bortas) isn't quite the same.

Hey guys, I am glad you like the wallpaper. Unfortunately the website template doesn't account for 1920 x 1080, even though I did make a version specifically for that size. (it's what I use at home. :) )

Long story short, here's a version designed specifically for 1920x1080 screens:

    Boldly Go - 1920 x 1080

Edit: As for the quote "Let's make sure history never forgets..." was a serious contender, but lost out because it was said in an alternate timeline. :p

Hey no need for that, besides like it or not the Odyssey is officially the Enterprise F now.

Cryptic do need to get this stuff by CBS you know.

Wow, finally, a desktop that illustrates the problem with the Ent-A! Look at the pylon on the left compared to the the one on the right. Notice anything? The one on the left is in a different place, causing the nacelle to be angled, clipping right through. Really though, if you are going to spotlight something, at least make sure it's not bugged first. Too hard to ask?

It's the angle of the shot, not the model.

Yes it does. Battlecruiser Vengeance, and its Captain Koth.

Okay, yes its an in universe joke about Star Trek, but come on, it can work. You can have Koth with his D7, and later his retrofit D7. And there can be Pi'c'ard, with his Vor'cha class ship, etc.

Or slightly more seriously note, looking at Memory Beta, it looks like there is a IKS Bortas (Vengeance) that has shown up in the different series (a D5 in Enterprise and a Vor'cha in TNG, and the current one in STO). So why not? Show us the proud liniage of the IKS Bortas across the ages.

    Vengeance flies in the morning.

Nice to see the devs think from time to time that Star Trek also includes some Enterprise(s) and not just defiants. lol

Seriously when i see how many times Cryptics uses the Galaxy class as advertisement i have to laugh. On the outside they use this and some other iconic cruisers for advertisement but in game they are just supporters for Cryptics beloved escorts.

This bothers me especially with the Galaxy class Cryptic, isn't even ashamed of using the worst ship in game for advertisement. I just hate double moral standarts like this.

Sorry for coming up with the same thing over and over again, but i just can't stand the carelessness and ignorance to Star Trek with what Cryptic is making a Star Trek game.
