5th Special Operations Division (RP)

Background:
5th Special Operations Division (SOD) was founded on stardate 90247.32 (or rather April 1, 2413) as a defence force. Stationed in the Eta Eridani sector block, this fleet was assigned to Starbase Trinity. Increasing hostilities with the Klingons have been the main concern of the Division, however it has been ordered as well to operate a diplomatic embassy on New Romulus as well.

Description:
As the title suggests, this is an RP fleet. We have a basic background that will be continually added upon throughout the fleet's development (the sooner you join, the more you can be a part of it). The fleet obviously runs in an RP format, with adherence to uniform code, etc while in-character. There is always a time and place for out-of-character gaming, and this is allowed, as long as it is known to other members (status).

We have an organized rank structure, Commaned Staff (General, Colonol, Commanders), followed by career Chiefs (Egineering, Science, Tactical), Sergeants, Specialists, and Privates.

Recruiting Message:
This fleet has been around for some time in different incarnations. Recently we went through a reconstruction period, and are looking to expand and develop an RP atmosphere for true Trekkies. Over the course of our recruitment, we have established a solid RP foundation with numerous characters.
Additionally, we have an organizational structure and specified roles within the fleet to truly integrate your RP experience into the fleet.

We request that people interested in the fleet look at the link to our website below to put in an application, however we also will respond to applications and posts on this thread. We highly encourage anyone willing to taking more senior roles, however, we accept RPers of all levels.

    Just thought I would introduce myself. I'm Vice Admiral Trent Bayliss, Executive Officer for the 5th Special Operations Division. I think @ubermatten will agree that we both are very excited about what is to come for the fleet!

    Generally, what hours is the fleet most active (CST, PST, EST, etc...)?

    Well, it's hard to say for certain because we're somewhat spread out, but generally speaking, I would say we are most active between say 5pm and 11pm PST.

    Actually, we just started constructing a page, it's not quite complete yet, just putting the final touches on it. We hope to have it up in the next couple of days.

    Capt. Argus Wolfe of the USS Spectre requesting permission to join the fleet. I've been looking for an RP fleet to join for the last few days, and I'm very interested in 5th SOD. I do have a bit of a strange schedule, as I work 3pm est to 11pm (or later) est, and I'm not sure if that will be a problem. But other than that, I look forward to being a part of something more than just flying around and shooting at things.

    Oh, by the way. I've been searching for your fleet in game, but come up with nothing each time I search. My in game is argus @arguswolfe.

    Thought I would just mention, in case anyone missed it, our new fleet website is online. Also, we're holding our first RP event, our Official Opening Ceremony, this weekend, Saturday, February 23! For more info on the event, click here. Hope to see everyone there!

    Hmm! Posted an inquiry about fleets big on RP just before I noticed this. This might be a promising fleet.

    I did notice, and attempted to send you a PM in-game. I haven't been able to find the fleet when I search for it.

    My apologies, that is an issue that we are definitely going to look at to get resolved. Unforuntunately I have not been able to log on as of late, but will be coming online most likely later tonight (10pm onwards PST). I will also be online at more times throughout the week.

    If you get a chance, maybe try @kpts4tv, as he is also another member to get in touch with about specific information.

    Just wanted to say we have a great fleet, some great folks, a casual yet driven atmosphere, great RP, and a promising future. If you are looking to join a fleet serious enough to get business taken care of and casual enough to have some fun while they are at it, then this might just be the fleet you've been looking for... I haven't regretted joining and look forward to our successes ahead.

    But my "first impression" was a really nice one!
