Decloaking bug

I know, I know. "Working as intended".

But when I do Tau Dewa sector patrol, and the BortasQ or the Enterprise who up, they hail me with a flyby text just before the start of the fight, and that decloaks me. I cannot do anything to prevent that, and it is not an "interaction" of any kind.

The same goes for, for example, Traellus satellite repair. Another flyby text "enemy ships approaching", and it decloaks me. Sure, once you know it, you only cloak after you got that message... but still, please fix it.
Remember, STO is nothing but a cosmetics game, where only the rule of cool matters. The game mechanics are intentionally out of balance, don't try to "optimize" anything, as it would just frustrate you.

    Yep, this happens with any pop-up message. Is this how it was in any of the series? Decloak to sen/receive message?

    Well ships would be able to see the transmissions from the enemy ship and be able to see if all of a sudden some transmissions disappeared around a certain area so they'd know where the cloaked ship was.

    You cant lose that mission. The 3 helper ships will never die. Just wait til you can cloak again! :D

    Actually it is intended, when you cloak at start bortasqu captain yell something like "fight like a man" or something like that and you decloak, when you dont cloak this phrase never appears. So i guess its little easter egg :p
