 Ok, just did the mission, got the ship (Ent C (RA)), but the weapons suck! MK VIII really??? Why in final part of the mission, when we break out with the ENT C, does that ship have really awesome MK XII weapons, Purple Fused, that kick butt, then on completing the mission, and grabbing the loot, are we given a pretty stock standard wepons?? seams like a big tease to me. Otherwise, love the game :)

i know the devs are probably against this but
it would have been nice if they gave fleets a limited time
fleet project to add a fleet ambassador ship. to there ship yard list of ships.

it was a nice idea though. lol..
if only the devs thought of it more.
carrier bay hold 6 of each wing
but the shuttle bay would hold 2 of each wing but small craft like
type 10 shuttles and scorpion fighters..

not debating just giving my thoughts, i know it will never happen.
the devs are quite fickle with things...

    1) A Fleet Ambassador is coming. Expect 10 console slots and all the +10% stat glory.

    2) There's well enough spam already. --> I am against adding anything like "shuttle bays" to all ships. The ability to launch wings of anything should only be reserved to purposeful carriers (as in not the Vesta, for example).
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

I disagree on shuttles - all ships should have the ability to launch useful shuttles. The question is, can they launch FIGHTERS?

no it does not it only helps restore energy faster after a beam overload or if you are switching power presets. it used to help the normal beam volleys then they patched it to what it is today. take it from someone who used to have 3 of those things then i tested it without and there was no faster energy recharging apart from when using beam overload or during the use of presets from defence to offence or from warp to normal impulse. besides its pretty clear on the tooltip of the item what it does:)

^ This is the truth. They changed EPS Flow Regulators ages ago. I can't believe people still slot them thinking they help with power drain. They only help if you change your power settings during combat (some people do that).

EPS Flow Regulators do not help you regen power from using lots of beams like they used to. The development team thought this was overpowered, and forced players to use this item over all other choices and to stack said item. So they changed the mechanics of the item. And it's been that way for a very long time.

As well as all ships should have a tractor beam available. That's not the case. And it'd be very much unfair if only the new C-Store or Fleet or Lockbox ships got them.

If all ships were to get shuttle bays, it would be fair, yes. But it would be a ton of supplemental spam. Spam is bad, so we're better off without shuttle bays on every ship (with the exception of a couple carriers that loose on stats and have hangars to compensate).

in all technicality you can use boarding parties....they work better than crappy type 8 and type 10 shuttles anyways.....get in close to the target, pop the BP and pull away....

I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

Yep, somewhere within the first six months of release. I don't remember exactly when this happened anymore. As a result beams have been meh ever since as the power drain mechanic for beams is to harsh. This was the birth of the reign of the DHC ships as DHCs are not affected by this power drain mechanic in the same way.

Personally, I think that what the Ambassador needs is not one but two hangar bays with a wing of three inflatable Borg tactical cubes each.

I love, love, love my Ambassador. She's got a solid punch thanks to some well placed BOFF slots, she can move pretty sprightly for her size, and I just love all of the effort that went into making her. Honestly, I was prepared to pay for the Ambassador class. I had money put aside just for the ship, because that is the ship I have most wanted since I first started playing, which was release day (well, the day after. Shipping is slow sometimes).

So thank you guys for this wonderful (FREE!) ship! I've already taken about 100 screenshots of her in action! :D
