Framerate lag with target

I have been getting framerate lags on the new romulus missions when you target an enemy. Once the enemy is killed, the framerate lag or "stall" releases. This also happens with enemies that cloak like the hirogen, jem hadar and the dampening fields on the ground.

I noticed that I was dropping frames like crazy and rubber-banding when trying to do any of the Tau Dewa patrol missions. Don't know what prompted me to do it but I went into the Video options tab and brought the slider down a notch to Standard (cant remember exactly as I am not with my PC) from Recommended and am now able to do the missions without any performance hit.

The odd thing is that this only occurs with the Tau Dewa space missions; everything else (outside of the Tau Dewa sector including elite STFs) run fine without problems. You may want to try this and see if it helps make your game more playable.

This is on an ASUS GTX 660 Ti (with the latest WHQ drivers from Nvidia a couple of days ago). I might try disabling DX11 too and see if that helps.

It happens to me with these enemies only, and only if I have one that is using the cloak targeted. If I am targeting something else or nothing, the cloak effect is fine. But if I am trying to shoot them or select them, my FPS dips down until they uncloak or die or I change targets.
