OP, they are called confidence men for a reason. If you saw it coming, there wouldnt have been an issue. You or someone in the fleet brought someone on at some point, fell for their act and are still in denial.
Many an old lady have fallen for the sweet talking sales man, and someone in your fleet did the same thing.
And to echo someone from a prior thread about this, what the heck was in your fleet bank that would seriously be missed? I understand why you are upset that someone broke your trust - not that PW can help you with that - but if the millions and millions of EC worth of stuff left either our FED or KDF fleet bank, I dont think I'd notice one bit.
Like I said, I refuse to give any other player any ideas on how the theft is done. The post is there in a way to let Mr. Brandon know that if he would like to know about how it's done he can send me a private message. He is a smart man. I am sure he figured that part out.

Anybody can sit in the forums and say "oh, I figured out a way to do something bad, but I won't tell you unless I get a dev response!" That's either forum posturing, or, if you really DO know something, it's a very low cost blackmail attempt.

How do you know I didn't already do that?
And I didn't expect to get badgered by, of all people, a forum moderator. I guess this is the last time I feel the need to advocate for my fellow player. I was trying to get people to tune in to the fact that there are ways around certain security features and for someone to accuse me of blackmail is quite insulting.
You wanted me to shut up? Fine.
No, I am not who you think I am. I am someone different. I am instead a banana.

There's no need to be rude to a community moderator. There are a lot of people spouting gibberish. Fleet banks get robbed all the time and it doesn't require hacking. What it requires is bad permissions management and fleet leaders that refuse to accept responsibility for their failure to secure their fleet bank.
Also you are not being badgered. Instead behaviour is being noted and it's hardly appropriate behaviour.
We did not ask for compensation...we asked to be heard. ....
To be fair, all you have asked and all you wanted is compensation. You are just slowing down a little bit because you started to doubt if you can actually score a quick one.
Other posters have tried to help as well. The only purpose of the thread is to generate drama.
It's threads like these why a large portion of the playerbase doesn't bother with these forums. There is a small vocal minority generating noise and thinking they somehow represent the majority of players.

Or in fact, contribute anything at all. You could have done just as much with a PM to branflakes.

Just a diatribe.
Hope you learn from this sucky lesson.
It could of happened when we were busy playing snow with Q, they needed supplies for when they pay us back for helping them by invading.
That would be more interesting than what really happened.
Someone screwed up and now the want to blame Cryptic.

Fleet Bank Robbed - Why isn't the fleet leader being held accountable?
Like who really cares if someone took some junk from the fleet bank.
