daveynydaveyny Member Posts: 8,227 Arc User
So I finished the Tier Five Romulan Mission and got one hell of a payout...

68,250 Expertise
40,000 Energy Credits
32,000 Dilithium Ore
750 Romulan Marks
& a new title...
'Friend of New Romulas'

I had no idea this was the reward...
How did I miss anybody else talking about this before???

Fleetmate told me about it. Normally, I don't have time for ground missions, but I made an exception for this. :)

Hm. For that amount of dil I might have to actually go scrounge up some environmental suits.

I found a bunch of blue ones on the Exchange (conveniently accessible from New Romulus) for <30k EC. I imagine green ones would be even cheaper.

    You DO get something.

Complete the mission where you take D'Tan down into the ruins, and you get a bunch of Dil Ore and Romulan Marks.

You get 30,000 dilithium and 750 Romulan marks and some other schlock if I remember correctly.

The mission to reward it is extremely bugged.

You have to do the tier 4 mission and successfully complete it. It did not complete on my first try. Then, in the room where you complete the mission you have to hail the Romulan and he will beam in and a cut scene will play.

    Heh...

Musta been sleepin' when that one hit...

Though that title really doesn't give a clue as to the payout, so I might have skipped over it since I wasn't anywhere near Tier Five at that point.

Truly, I do 'get around'..., but even I have to turn off the 'puter, occasionally.

Some people in another thread were asking about the cut scene. Here it is.

Do you get the same reward if you restart the romulan missions and play them again?

No, you don't. Just have 2 (you can get them tossed after you on Nukara), and let the rest of the BO's die... It's easily done on elite.

The reward is not for completing the mission, but rather for getting the accolade.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Mainly because whenever there is something good to say, people will usually talk about it once (if they even acknowledge it at all) and move on.

Whereas if someone has something negative to say, they will go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on AND ON AND ON AND ON about it until either they tire themselves out, they get themselves banned, or the issue they perceive is resolved.

So you see how any positive content in the forums easily gets drowned out in the negative.
