Fleet Ship Modules cost Zen, or you can get them from the exchange.

yes, and a t3 shipyard is also required ofcourse. if you have no access to one my fleet is selling fleet ships for 50k dilithium.

I have a fleet thankfully, where does one go to purchase the ship? I'm assuming the Fleet Space Station?

No just the standard shipyard. Make sure you have permissions to use fleet provisions, that your fleet have enough provisions, and that you have enough modules and fleet credits.

Gaaah, I was hoping to avoid the fleet credit part. Those things take ages to get...

    srsly? 20k takes about 500 fleetmarks...thats 10x the foundry daily = 300 minutes=5hours

    5 hours are hardly... ages^^

PS: some of the foundry missions don't even require you to play...some actually allow you to go afk

PPS: wait i think i made an error in my calculation...but 20k is no big deal anyway.

    It's 400 marks actually.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

Wow, that's easier than I thought haha. Ill get to work on that now. I may start another thread regarding a weapon set up and skill points. I am probably going to re assign my skill points so some tips and advice on what to do for that would be great.

It sucks that I'm a Tactical though, I should have chosen Engineer, but Ill have to make do with what I have :/

Well I have narrowed it down to 2 ships.

Fleet Excelsior or Fleet Assault Cruiser.

We have already gone over the 2 ships retrofit versions pretty thoroughly so for a quick recap, what are the main differences between these 2 ships and which would be a better choice?

Fleet Excelsior: Better turn, better inertia, Ens Eng instead of Tac, Lt. Sci instead of Uni, +5 Weps/+5 Engines, T3 Shipyard, built in Transwarps.

Fleet Regent: Less turn, worse inertia, Ens Tac instead of Eng, Lt. Uni instead of Sci, +10 Weps/+0 Engines, T5 Shipyard.

I believe the Fleet Regent can also use the Regent's console, but I'm not sure of that. Basically it comes down to the Regent has more theoretical damage capacity while the Excelsior has more agility so it can bring weapons to bear more easily. If you do get the Excelsior make sure you get the C-Store version first to get the discount and the account unlock.

So basically either extra power or maneuverability. Ill probably get the Excelsior since its cheaper and basically does the same stuff besides that extra fire power.
