Ultimate Game Card

It's a deffective payment method. I bought mine at a 7-11 and tried to enter it and it said "still to pay" 73 cents or something. What a fake TRIBBLE promo to advertise when that card says YOU owe THEM money when you DON'T x.x sighs.

    Change your country from Canada to the US, and it'll work fine. I had to do the same thing.

    i had decided to take advantage of the promo . seeing i can find the UGC cards in more places then the PWE cards . it worked great .
    i like having choices when buying game currency , i can go to one store and most likely find the domination im looking to spend no matter the card type

    I just used the Ultimate Game Card and it charged me 68 cents so I had to use a second card just to get the first to even work.

    I received the 15% bonus ZEN and then decided to use up as much of the remaining balance to buy ZEN so I bought 1000 and 500 ZEN.

    In the Ultimate Game Card site it showed the 15% bonus but when I checked the balance at PWE there was no bonus ZEN included.

    I now have a balance at Ultimate Game Card of $3.84 I can't use and only 3800 ZEN for my $40 when I should have had 4600 ZEN or at least 4025 if the bonus had worked correctly.

    So ya, great promotion!!!

    Stay away from this ripoff!

    It is not a ripoff. You clearly did something wrong.

    I have always bought my Zen from UGC, and never have encountered any issues like the above. Ever. On top of that, the bonus 15% for the current promotion has yet to fail to apply for me.

    Actually, if you're Canadian you *might* get screwed by the card.

    I had bought one from Wal-Mart and trying to redeem it showed I still owed $0.71. Changing my country from Canada to the US resolved the issue and it treated the $20 card as a $20 card.

    I later bought one from Futureshop, and same issue. Switching to US, however, it now said the card was only worth $19.30, with no way to redeem it. So, after redeeming two cards, I now have 360 points sitting in my UGC account unable to be redeemed because apparently they charge you conversion rates.

    Here is the problem with this situation of changing from Canada to US. Our Currency is worth a fraction more than yours, in basic terms it is on-par with the US. So why are we being charged more for our transactions? The cards have a value of $20, and are not filled to equal that amount they are activated by the retailer to reflect that amount, then UGC changes the value because it was purchased in Canada, thus requiring you to purchase another card to make up the difference. Our currency has been on par or higher for over 2 years so it isn't a new thing, and seeing as the variable charge changes daily they have their own program deciding the exchange rates.

    I am currently in discussions with various Canadian retailers to just pull the cards from their shelves until this matter is resolved by Ultimate game Card, and if it isn't to just have them demand a refund for a defective product. I work with the purchasing agents for a large portion of the retailers who currently sell this card, and so far 3 of them are looking into the matter. So for the greed portrayed by UGC in discriminating towards Canadian customers, they will feel it in their pocket book quicker than if just a few people stop buying their cards, it just won't be sold anywhere in Canada.

    Ok, so what's the issue with this card now? I purchased an Ultimate Game Card and TRIED to enter it into my account. After clicking "charge Zen" and choosing Ultimate Game Card as provider and $50 as the denomination, I click on "Checkout". That's it I guess because the next step is a white window that opens up with nothing in it. I get different error messages depending on if I attempt this in Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer. Anyone else having this issue? Is it only an issue today? I've submitted a ticket, but their usual response time really leaves something to be desired.

    cratchmaster - I am having the same issue. I have been using these cards since this past July, with no issues at all, so i can only assume that it is a problem on PW's end. Interestingly enough, I noticed my browser attempting to connect to www.ultimatepay.com when that "white window" opened, which is NOT the url of their actual website... i tried it manually, and it doesn't work. www.ultimategamecard.com/index.html and https://site.ultimatepay.com/ DO work, however....

    Well hopefully this is a temporary issue which they can fix BEFORE the bonus zen promotion is over! Thanks so much for the info - if only Cryptic or Perfect World had such timely feedback.

    Correction! The payment bit works, but 30 minutes later, and I am still waiting for the Zen to deposit into my wallet . . . They had better not keep my money and give me no Zen . . .

    Well I tried a few more times and it let me enter in the number. Next I clicked on continue and got the blank white page again. I better not be out $50! Any comment from Cryptic or Perfect World?

    Well I tried again and the site accepted my card number and says that I'll receive my Zen once the transaction is approved or something like that (not up on my phone anymore) So now I get to play the waiting game too. NOT an auspicious start to using UGC cards to say the least! And my support requests to Perfect World billing and to Ultimate Game Card have still been ignored. Maybe stealing money is 'working as intended'? :confused:

    I've used several dozen of these cards with no previous issues. I hope this is only a momentary hiccup. I just sent an email to customerservice@perfectworld.com - now it's time to wait.

    So how long does it generally take to get the zen deposited into your account? Is it usually a matter of minutes, hours, days?

    It's usually *gasp* instant! oh the wonders of the interwebs! only in this case, neither PW or UP seem to know how to use it right! (Special Equipment Pack - Self-Targeting Facepalm)

    but seriously, there's usually a little "loading-style" bar, accompanied by a message instructing you to wait whilst the transaction is completed. after that, the funds are there... except right now. now they're in limbo somewhere.

    I need to convert some zen to dil to help fund my fleet's T2 Embassy upgrade, which costs 1m...
    This isn't helping it get done quickly.

    Perfect world got back to me - UGC is currently experiencing a delay processing transactions. They assure me the funds are not lost and will show up once the problem is resolved. Here's hoping!
