    To Davagon,

I'll be more than happy to hand down what I know. I have been out of game, for a spell, in order to revitalize the enjoyment of STO. Do feel free to get in contact with anyone within FES, also. I do intend to return, very soon. At which point, I'll hit you up. Go ahead and add me to your friend's list and I'll see it, when I log in.

My first and foremost advice, though, is Aim, Crouch, and Roll, with "x", "c", and "w-w" "q-q" "e-e" or "s-s"; respectively. Crouching is the number one thing you can do, and if you're not, you should, and if you don't when I get with you, then you will by the time I'm done with you. ;)

Godspeed, in the ques. Continue to enjoy the game, too. I'm glad to hear of newer folk entering PvP, despite the existence of deceptively simple tactics. Above all, do not get mad/angry. Get educated.

Bump for sticky status. Great to see so many new faces as well as vets still interested in Ground.

In addition to the above post, don't forget to sprint.

This is exactly how I use to roll Sci back in the day! lol. On a good day, it actually worked.
Glad I stocked up on those Borg kits, lol. It won't matter if they go ahead with custom kits with slottable console-like abilities as they have talked about.

I've been away for a while too, any word on this proposition (customizable kits)? Is it still being considered?

I'll definably be reading though this later when I get chance, I really want to get my ground accolades done but dodging consistent cluster ****s by FMS was stopping me! Now I can poke my nose into the mysteries of ground PVP and see where I'm lacking lol. +1 to the OP!

Why this is not sticky? it should be!

I want to thank you for your great guide, really helped me ALOT to become a good ground pvper. I've even received congratulations from members of the FES for my good engi play!

Im taking the iniciative on my fleet to promote ground pvp and have already started to translate the guide to spanish because on my fleet we are spanish speakers.

Keep up with the good work and see ya in the ground!

Hey thanks for replying...I am new to pvp and STO, playing for just a couple of months, so I am still in the honeymoon phase;) Look forward to meeting you or FES member in game.

Great guide.... But I still don't get why not much engineers use the enemy neutralize kit. It is so overpowered. The way I play is put mines and bomb behind a corner, go out and hit someone, get them to chase you, run back behind the corner and boom, they step on traps, 2. 5 k damage and they get instantly killed. And yet, still soo many prefer the slow mortars. The only problem is long ranged, perfect for defense, sick at offense.
