Mens Winter Coats Need to Be Reversed

In western fashion, all mens button-up clothing folds left-over-right, and womens clothing folds right-over-left. Although this might not seem important, it's a very standard rule in the clothing industry that's been followed for several centruries.

Commonly, graphic artists tend to overlook this when designing characters for video games. The Winter Coats in Star Trek Online have also been subject to this type of error. It may seem like a nit-pick, but as of now all the Winter Coats being offered in Star Trek Online are technically womens clothing.

A simple reverse of the mens coats will fix this problem.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I am not entirely shure how the game has even progressed over the past 2 weeks, with a flaw of this magnitude.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

It's certainly not a game-ending flaw by any means. I'm sorry if it's not as "crucial" as having the wrong texture on a cannon uniform, or the placement of a combadge, but it IS a mistake, and one that can be fixed very easily.

Isn't that what this art feedback forum is for?

It really doesn't matter, I have a jacket that buttons up on that side, it's definitely a male jacket. It's not really an error, especialy compared to some of the other STO uniform errors, TWOK ranks, or the TNG jumpsuits.

And I thought I was the only one who noticed that error. Just thought cross dressing was the "in" thing this winter.

"Western Fashion" is a term that hardly applies in 25th century gender neutral fashion for humanoids of many species. There is nothing that needs to be fixed here.

    Fair enough.

I guess it just caught me by surprise that in a forum filled with Trek fans, the most nit-picky, quibbly fandom known to science, someone came up with an impossibly small nitpick that isn't even Trek-related.

Actually the fold on the men's winter jacket being fold going from right to left is probably intentional. The jacket is obviously based off of the field jacket from Star Trek: Wrath of Khan. While the jacket itself had a straight zipper, the main uniform of the movie had that fold from right to left, so this is probably why it was done in this way.
