Can't contribute doffs to Romulan Reputation Project

I'm trying to run the Romulan Reputation mission "Requisition: Advanced Scorpion Hangar Pet (Very Rare / Purple)" and I'm unable to contribute any engineering or operations DOFFs to the project. I can see in my DOFF roster that I have more than one unbound DOFF that is in either department of uncommon quality, and the contribute button is grayed out. I have tried logging out and back in, but to no avail. Anyone else having this problem? Discovered a work around?

    I think those contributions should work just like the contributions to fleet-projects. When you hit the contribute-button you get a list of your doffs (no matter if those are on an assignment). If you try to contribute a Doff, who is currently on an assignment, it won't work...

    Please make sure that the Doff isn't on an assignment while you try to contribute him/her to your reputation project.

    They need to be whites, not greens.

    It's a piece of laziness holding over from when Cryptic changed the requirements for starbase doff inputs. Somebody cut and pasted from the starbase project assets, and didn't bother to check their work.

    Are you sure that the advanced Scorpion (very rare/purple) need white doffs? 30 white Doffs for Scorpions (rare/blue) and only 20 for advanced Scorpions (very rare/purple) doesn't sound logical for me, but ok it's still Cryptic/Perfect World...

    STOwiki doesn't list that project, so there is no notice about an error/display-bug.

    Having run it myself, yes. Several starbase projects are running into this issue, and given that the rep system is basically a relabeled starbase it's not a surprise to see the problem has translated over.

    I am positive that they are not on assignment, as I just bought them. I will try again with some whites (which I don't have atm, because I contribute them to the fleet).

    So it definitely works if you have the appropriate common duty officers. Jeez.

    I had the same problem, and it accepted white doffs.. i know it doesn't make any sense, but a i just buy 1 white doff form the exchange and then 19 fleet white doffs and i was able to complete it and get my purple scorpion fighters
