They're awesome, huh? They'll be usable in the "uniform" drop down so your Bridge Officers can also wear them.

    Cheers,

I'm not possessed of a consuming desire to get one, but I'm sure we all will. :)
I hope they unbind the extra scarf that's been sitting in my inventory for a year hehe.
I'll sell you some weapons from New Romulus. Never fired, only dropped once.

    NEWCLOTHESNEWCLOTHESNEWCLOTEHSNEWCLOTHESNEWCLOTHESYAAAAAAY!

I like how they're making more and more clothes 'uniforms', honestly. Gives us much more variety to choose from. Honestly, I wish they'd stop having a distinction between uniforms and off-duty, because the off-duty options suck, but individual pieces are awesome (Ferengi, for example), and I'd love to be able to mix and match across the board.
http://geekparty.com/an-open-letter-to-cryptic-studios/ My latest STO article, about the Summer Event. Where I admit that really...it's mostly about the outfits.

off-duty outfits do have their charm. My Pee-Wee Herman costume is uncannily close, just missing the pocket hanky

I'd like to know when the distinction between "Uniform" and "Off-duty" costume options are going to be dropped.

It's actually really damned close! If nothing else, assuming the colour palette allows for reasonable customization, this is an excellent stand-in.

    Awesome, Cryptic. :D

    (For an illustrated reference... )

Since the characters in the pic are all wearing Fed uniform parts I have to ask, is there a Klingon jacket image floating around to put my cynical mind at ease?

I believe Klingons get the same jacket. Could be wrong.

Wearing fed uniform pants and boots. With Cryptic one can never be sure when they're gonna give the KDF the middle finger again.

It would be nice to know, if the orion looking woman is really a kdf orion or a federation alien looking like an orion, the other characters look like federation only...
Just asking because when did the klingon side get a new (off duty) costume ?
So it would be nice if someone could clarify this ?
Does this also mean , that we get the chance to mix costume sets again after it was taken away starting with season 7 ?
(Omega belt and normal pants, that isn't possible at the moment).

Could be, but aren't :) I checked in with the team and they mentioned they are available for the KDF.

Ok, so there are 3 jacket types, but 7 characters shown:
    Long Jacket: Characters 1,2,5,7
    Standard Jacket: Characters 3,6
    Half Jacket: Character 4

    ...
So where is the Gorn wearing a jacket?
Can you wear the Vet shoulderpads with the jackets?
Is the Half Jacket female only like all the other similar types?

    I just noticed

They limited the midriff look to the one race out of all of them likely to actually wear it.

    Nice touch.

What makes you think that? Just because it is being worn by an Orion female doesn't mean Ferengi males can't wear it.
