it wouldn't be patch day with out more bugs

in typical cryptic fassion, something new and magical has happened. Attempted to log on, go to the character select screen, selected my toon, and then boom, a brand new error message that I've never seen before...

"Got Duplicate LOGIN_SUCCESS"

*starts slow clap* well done cryptic. last time, you could login and get kicked after a few seconds, now, can't even get that far.

whats next patch day gonna be? BSOD on launch of the game?

    Join the club, pal. I'm right behind you. My game crashes on the second loading screen (the one before character select).

    I haven't been able to notice any bugs yet.

    My patch is a 4.969727GB (5089MB) file that I've been waiting for two hours to download...

    WHY ARE PATCHES SO FREAKING LARGE?!?!?!

    Taking me like 5 minutes... and its 633mb

    When they can break something that should not be breakable... that is true talent. I enter a space environment, encounter an enemy and then notice that my Boff abilities are all missing and not recoverable.

    They did bother to post a notification that there is a fix, which finally came up while I was checking other toons.

    New STO motto, "We break it and you fix it... the best job around."
