Coliseum: Mesmerizing Monolith bug

So I'm playing through this Romulan/Reman content for the first time, And I get to coliseum, I scan the ship, and drift while reading the text. I finish reading, and blam! Energy beam holds me. This was not entirely unexpected, but... now i'm 8.43 KM from the satelite - too far to scan it.

Dropping the mission does not kick me out to sector space, and I always seem to log back into the mission - held by the satelite. And it forces a constant red alert, so i can't warp out...

In the immortal words of Fry, "FixitFixitFixitFixitFixit!" that is all.

    I've read in similar posts that some people have gone over to PvP missions, and than when they are done with that, they find themselves in Sector Space. It's a bit of a work around, but from the other threads I have read, the Devs are aware of it.
