S7: Shuttle selection changes ship name displayed?

deianirrahdeianirrah Member Posts: 236 Arc User
With S7 it is possible to designate the primary shuttlecraft at a spacedock. After doing so (and after still having a designated primary starship), the ship name displayed in space is the one of the shuttle. Only the displayed name is taken from the shuttle - the crew, hull and shields, weapons, abilities and bridge officers are those of the primary starship.

Bug or did I miss an option somewhere?

I've encountered this as well. Looks like a bug to me. It also lists your selected shuttle when you look at your profile in-game.

I've got this, and I think the game thinks my ship is a shuttle with its terrible shield modifier because my Omega Force Shield Array Mk XII now only has like 4000-something shields.

I have the same issue. Also, when I am setting up Duty Officer assignments and one of my crew gives recommendations, he/she says "I recommend the following candidates from the U.S.S. [...]" and it lists the name of my shuttle and not my ship.

Yup, same here. According to the UI I was zipping round in my shuttle for most of last night, even though there was a starship sitting in the middle of my viewer

Yet one more addition to a growing list of faults......

I'm still having this issue too. I'd have thought it would be an easy fix. Cryptic looking at this, it's mighty irritating.

I'm also seeing my Yellowstone "Barkhorn" rather than my Akira "Esclarent".

I have one character who is flying the USS Hartnell - Wells Class Temporal Science Vessel, but the loading screen insists he is flying the USS McGann - Aeon Class Timeship Shuttle. He doesn't seem to be experiencing as many of the UI and in game text errors as some of you, but that login screen has been stuck ever since I bought the Aeon and tried it out to see what it could do.

This character is why I don't play my Romulan any more. Tovan Khev is NOT my BFF! Get him off my bridge!

Same here, when I check my own profile, the ship's name is my shuttle instead of the ship that I'm currently flying.

This is happening for me as well.

I is amusing to think that all my DOFFs are crammed into a runabout...
