I'm talking on Teamspeak last night with Fleet Members from around he world.
We all have different escorts, builds, and BOFF layouts .
Many of these players before season 7 were the STF Elites of the Elites.
Now they don't even want to do a STF and looking for the easy missions.
Why they just blow up over and over and complain that nothing's the same.
Myself I paid hard cash for Lobi so I could get a M?bius it was exciting and fun.
Now I feel like I got ripped off, I saw the release note and thought it was just the destroyers.
But talking to everyone we have concluded its all escorts, science abilities, and the Borg plasma is vicious now.
All of us paid money to get a escort so why even bother upgrading your ship if later its not what you paid for.

Also, Escorts != tanks, if they've finally gotten a tanking nerf, Thank God. It's been an extremely long time coming.

Cryptic have taken a boardroom decision not to offer value for money (via longevity) on their products.
You must now spend and buy Zen for a different ship. Yes, it's extremely unethical, but that's just the way they've decided to remodel their business. It's technically not theft, just a minor infraction on your wallet. Get used to it, as they will now never stop.
Can I ask someone to quote the relevant part of the release notes, because I am not seeing it...
Probably referring to the following line in the latest release notes under Systems:
Updated Mobius and Krenn Weapon power and default Defense.
