Whole Server Down (Resolved)

Release Notes: November 8, 2012
"General server stability improvements"

Pls don`t give us pure and TRIBBLE patch notes anymore!!
U should name that thread "working on srw INSTABILITY"
Ah, and also not possible to change any maps, (beaming up cause game freeze)

Chat box offline, and social button/friends offline, and also geting d/c`d every 2nd time while changing maps. And 1st work on bugs in the game, than on s-X. Thank you!

    In addition to chat, I couldn't change maps. I tried Relogging, now it wont let me log in.

    I think even the server hardware is rebelling to the S7 changes. IT will now cost 100 Dil just to log in.

    i tried changing maps too. it took me a while but it changed eventually
    *Me*Why don't you just step away from the weapons console. You and I both know that you couldn't hit that cube, even if it was right in front of us.

    I warped out of a sector, and it's still there, my mail is just scrolling the same message over and over again on my notification screen, but mailbox is empty, think some hardware just decided to die

    i am locked into a warp out animation from ISE :P my ship is invisible all the time. also funny

    that's a new one. Never seen just chat go offline in any game. Kind of a bad thing in an MMO if you can't talk to anyone in game.

    Hrm, I'm still in game, thought it was inventory lag. I did just get my 5 hyposprays though (after about as many minutes) so you may want to try logging in again.

    It's like, the mother of all lag spikes.

    the amount of dilithium in the game is what is killing the servers.

    Reduce the amount of dilithium per mission and that should solve it
    Should I start posting again after all this time?

    Consider this a good thing... really...

    This way, it won't feel like season 7 is buggin on us...
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    was finishing an stf and chat died and we couldn't exit now stuck in the exit screen

    Yea I can't log in, "connection to log in server timed out", cant chat when i was in game.

    IDK I would consider the removal of some of the zone chats to be a server improvement... :D
    My Romulan Liberated Borg character made it to Level 30 and beat the (old) Defense of New Romulus with the skill point bug. :D

    Ah, the servers are just scared about SWTOR going free to play later this week, as well as the background stuff they are doing behind the scenes with Season 7 due out tomorrow... Its gonna be rough for a few to several days.

    Servers were running so good up until now, but then they took a lightsaber to the knee... :D

    This should be resolved. The whole server was not down, though -- it seems there might have been a side-effect from bringing chat back up.
