So the Regular enemies are cool. Just requires cross healing.
The Queen Needs to be toned down. The Aura of 5km Death is avoidable, so that's cool. Instakill from full shields and Hull Torp Spread is not. That wasn't a one time occurance, it killed probably everybody 5 times each.
EDIT: This was on Elite, and No rewards were given out.

I agree completly. Just finished playing it on Elite. First part was fantastice. Great balance. V'Ger ship where also good. The Queen's ship was to much. It instant killed all 5 of our ships at the same time. Way too much power. Also only one of our group got a neural processor and none of us got marks.
I am the aforementioned player who got the neural processor reward - I also got the marks reward, but there was no flyout to let me know, I had to look under 'assets' in my inv. to see them. Got 81 for the run, after making the first optional but failing the next two.
More specific info about the insta-kills - this was from my combat log - I was the only ship active at the time, so as far as I know, this was the first hit.
[6:44] [Combat (Self)] Borg Queen Octahedron's Isometric Charge dealt 8771 (9315) shield damage to you.
[6:44] [Combat (Self)] Borg Queen Octahedron deals 46600 (91977) Electrical Damage to you with Isometric Charge.
That was enough to one-shot me, even with resistances up and full shields.
Got no rewards for completing this, Omega Marks, Dil, or neural thingy after completing the Normal mode. Someone else on my team did get Marks they said.
Otherwise pretty neat mission, I had voices turned down it seems and couldn't hear most of it, but the parting voice-over was neat.
Okay, so after almost an hour off doing Normal Onslaught i jsut quit because the 1 hit kills from the queen and the support vessels, r out of control. Everytime i respawned against the queen, within 20 seconds i got blown up again. By a 1hit torp. It is out of control. no to mention we didnt kill the queen. this was on normal and at best we managed to get her down to 92% b4 we all well killed. and this was again on normal, i hate to imagine how things r on elite. And we were getting ship damage when we were destroyed, since when did that start on normal. i know it is like that on elite, but not normal
*Me*Why don't you just step away from the weapons console. You and I both know that you couldn't hit that cube, even if it was right in front of us. *Junior Tactical Officer* But sir the cube IS right in front of us. *Me* EXACTLY! Its right in front of us and you still missed it! Just step away from the console.
One thing I dislike is the Borg having Feedback Pulse, but then again I dislike Feedback pulse no matter who has it :P
Yea. A Science Officer is a MUST HAVE in this mission, particularly for SNB. 5 tank-built Sci Offs shouldn't have TOO much trouble with this mission theoretically.
I also will not be playing this STF the borg queen does whatever she wants to whoever she wants whenever she wants it does not matter how much of a tank you think you are she will pop u 1 shot with that isometric charge every time, unless you have 300K+ hull which is not likely, also she can shoot it at everyone on the team rapid fire 5 consecutive shots... how is that fair?
What was the team like? Experienced STF players or random Pugs?
Random pug. Never had an issue before.
This mission is wholly unenjoyable for me. 6 tac cubs is not my definition of a good time... nor are 2 unimatrix vessels... with feedback pulse and spinal lances...

They aren't on the level of the ISE or KASE Tac Cube.

Tactical cubes? o.O Did you First-Time-Elite or something? One does not simply play a new STF on Elite first time. Do normal, know half of what to expect. Still, you didn't miss much, Cryptic forgot to give the mission any rewards.
Also, protip: Stay near the Queen's ship during the Bger fight, they won't use their Spinal Lances. Says so in the mission.
Speaking of spinal lances... CRYPTIC YOU TEASES. I've always WANTED a Plasma Lance... Can you give the G-X the ability to swap energy types, pretty please?

Yes it was my first time and I did elite.... Ive done every other one on elite... so might as wel do this one that way.
Yep... there are 6 tactical cubes. They dont aggro... so if you only pull one you can kill them about the same as ISE or KASE... but theres still 6 of them... and they each have a guard of 2 spheres. Too much.
Yes... I know about the lances not firing if youre close to the Queen's ship... doesnt help when you spawn 25km away.
Also not that this had any effect on the mission... but the U.S.S. Houston buggered off about half way through the tac cube fight... and several of the cubs, upon engaging them flew off in a giant circle before coming back to the Queen's ship.

Difficulty seemed fine to me. I was able to survive the Queen's ship in my Tac/Regent without dying once and I had her aggro about half the time.
To do that on Elite I probably need a dedicated tank and a healer in my back.
Curious to try that out once it's live.
Thank you for a mission that puts an emphasis on TANKING for once instead of a DPS race.
Bravo.
Did you engage them all at once?
You mean people will have to learn to use EPTS and BFI to play? Can't wait to try out this one!
God, lvl 60 CW. 17k.
Not a dedicated tank, though. More of a hybrid build.

As for rewards I didn't receive any, but looking forward to playing it on Holodeck.
Edit: I played on Elite.

Nope... engaged one at a time... its stupid. Took half an hour just to kill the cubes... team started leaving when the unimatrix vessels showed up...
I wont be playing this when it goes live... its dumb.

Those are very easy in red alerts if you sit at the top of it, at 0km. They just can't shoot at you.
God, lvl 60 CW. 17k.
Thye seem more powerful. Not to mention it seems like RSP got nerfed.
Tried it... they still got me in this.

probably pigeon holed with aegis set and 4 neutroniums just so you can say you tanked isometric charge
Every weird non cubic and non spherical mob has dead angles. I'll post it here as soon as tribble stops patching the whole internet on my computer.
