New Doff app

You think if might be possible for sto to develop a doff app? Go to google store, download the app and manage your officers right from your phone! Great for when ever your away from your computer! How about the exchange as well? This has to be possible and I'm sure they could make the price reasonable. All apps are affordable.

    It's definetly possible to make. You'd summon azzura2 every now and then to check the exchange and doffs wouldn't do much juicy assignments as your ship is still in one sector.
    But I really hope they don't add something like that. And the web part reminds me too much of conflux in HoMM6 which makes me sick already. Can't believe they're planing to add such TRIBBLE.

    You don't seriously think they'd make such a web app, and think "yea... we should ignore all the work we have put into this webapp, and do a sh*tload of work on the same thing for 3 different platforms", do you?

    Well, one way to look at it is that now that they've developed all the API hooks and have a working app of any sort, it will actually be easier to translate that into an ios or android app than it would be to develop from scratch.

    What would be even better is exposing the API hooks to ios/android/wp7 developers to allow them to make the native apps (with the caveat that any app made using the APIs must be free.)

    Maybe the web app is the priority, but without people voicing their opinions, wants, and needs, the devs won't know what the people want ;)
