Since the patch yesterday, I have noticed an issue with the primary fire of the pulsewave assault weapon. While in shooter mode the weapon fires about 2 centimeters left of the center of the crosshairs. The weapon also fails to deal damage while pointed at a downward angle. Is anyone else having this problem?
Yes I'm having this issue and so are some of my guildmates. I can be shooting at a target that is point blank in front of me and deal no damage to it yet hit targets behind it. Seems to be a combination of range to target (closer is harder to hit), shooter mode, and elevation. If your on level ground with a similar height target you will hit. If the same target is on slightly higher ground you will miss. If the target is shorter (say a targ) where you have to aim down you will miss.
This bug currently makes pulsewave weapons useless while in shooter mode unless the player can account for the weapon's drift. In PvP with the players doing the unrealistic RPG jump and shoot, you might as well be shooting blanks because the weapons phase right through them. Could this issue be related to the pathing data problem from two weeks ago?
EDIT: I spent some time reading through recent bug reports in this forum section and there are several mentions of problems with transphasic bombs, mines, and other AoE abilities. The pulsewave is an AoE dealing weapon, so this is likely related. A dev acknowledged the mine/bomb bug in this thread, so it is possible that the pulsewave will be fixed when they fix the above mentioned mine/bomb issue.
