I was running a friend through missions and he hit level 40. So he goes to quinn only to find him not in his office, and instead on the dance floor of club K-7. He tries to get his promotion and it doesn't work. In addition, whenever I grant DI, it doesn't increase the move speed of any ships in sector space... so I dunno what's up with that.
It is said the best weapon is one that is never fired. I disagree. The best weapon is one you only have to fire... once. B)

what do you mean his promotion didn't work? More data is needed here.

DI won't let ships exceed Warp 10. To do that they must already have the ability to exceed Warp 10.

I saw Adm. Quinn at Club 47 as well. Also noticed a few other peculiarities with the NPC's on Earth Spacedock too; security patrols visibly armed with phaser assault miniguns, Commander Burgess standing in the door to Quinn's office, and Niwan, the bartender of Club 47, brandishing a phaser pulsewave assault weapon and standing away from his bar. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Q was up to his old tricks again.

Yep, Adm Quinn is living up his retirement a little early at Club 47. Capt Sulu is also jamming to the tunes in front of Club 47. He looks like he's playing some 'air keyboards'

I saw this on Zone 4 yesterday Some of the Security was in the wrong place.

Most of them had mini guns,

Adm. Quin was poping up in places thatt he should not be.

The key if your buddy is waiting for the promotion is to transition to a different instance. I had one instance where the bof trainer was completely missing...

ironically i feel like instance 4 is home to most of the bugs...i know that makes no sense but it was missing bof trainer...quinn was getting sloshed in the club... sulu was typing on the receptionist's head...and at one point the 'transwarp' effect of ships was going through ESD thus creating a very physcadelic environment.

Yeah, I've seen the warp thing..... makes no sense to me. I don't think it has to do with the KDF raids though. It's just the regular animation of a ship jumping to warp, except there is no ship and it loops incessantly.

That's probably just someone running one of the foundry quickies from the panel outside the transporter room. I do it myself from time to time to freak out a few by-standers! :D

You can set those to use a warp animation? Interesting. I didn't know that.
