'Becoming the Future' problem

I've just tried to replay the 'Becoming the Future' mission (last map from Night of the Comet) and the shards when you destroy a comet fragment won't spawn.

I tried 4 times:

The first spawned no shards after the fragments died
The second spawn shards for 2 fragments but nothing for the final one
The third and fourth times spawned no fragments from destroying the comet

i've had similar problems and have thus far been unsuccessful. the only thing i can think of is to play a purely defensive game against klingons and concentrate all firepowerr on comet, fragments and shards, otherwise we'll lose track of them. at least that's my next strategy.

for me, it's not spawning the fragments after I destroy the comet. Kinda new to the game, and this is my first time doing this episode. Is it supposed to spawn in the (what's it called... mission circle?) when the map is brought up? Also, are the fragments and shards targetable when hitting the 'tab' button?

it's a glitch. you'll need to wait for it to be fixed. I've heard that it might soemtimes work, but I wouldn't play it 20 times just to see.

Im having the same problem the shards not appearing.
