Gre'thor isn't solid anymore...

...or so it seems, if you're an NPC. Enemies, friendlies and bridge crew alike, all had a tendency to fall through the floor and go unconscious/dead.

    Yeah, I can confirm this Bug, I'm Stuck on the same Mission, your 4 away team members fall under the boat in the first second, when you go onto the stoney shore before the gates of Gre'thor nearly all the NPC's Glitch and they teleport under the boat where they die, the Gate operator Does not open the gates due to him stuck under the boat unconscious or something, It's rather dull
    The Gates of Gre'thor is still broken. Please Fix the Map.

    Confirming the same issue - everyone dies and if you try to reload, you respawn under with them and die ... and then pop up again with all NPCs still under the boat

    Same issue here, play in normal and can get injures, no respawn points save, and some parts dont have enemys, in some occasions beam down in another missions, NPC dead in boat or disappear elsewhere.

    There are 4 of you so far. One more and you will have a full team to do the mission since it seems to effect npcs. A pre-made should have more success

    We did this as a team of 4 (the NPC kept dying as above), and managed to get through it. The boss at the end, and many of the NPCs, also have a tendency to fall through the world making it even weirder.

    I recommend holding him in place and tanking him without running around if you're doing it as a group (as much as possible, as you have to keep out of the fire).

    Same problem here. I googled up a thread from 2010 stating problems. Unbelievable it is still not fixed.

    There was once, when I quit the mission and respawned...the gate opener actually popped out. But I could not overcome the final boss. He killed me and when I respawned he disappeared.

    Cryptic was talking about improving Klingon gameplay. Well here is serious place to start at.

    Season 7 should be entirely dedicated to debug and I would even pay for it!

    Also Gate opener wont spawn. End Area final fight Defeat 3 waves the Wave despawns before you can even get to them. Mission totaly borked! Bug reported Again and again.

    Even today its the same way cant even the operator to open the damn gate cause he got ran over by the boat

    I spent some time trying to finish this mission last night - it is possible to get to the final boss, although beating the various enemies because they fall through the floor and die is a big let down.

    When I got to the final boss, it wouldn't take damage, and kept falling through the floor and respawning.

    One small set of KDF exclusive episodes, at least try fix some of the glaringly obvious problems please.

    Has anyone found a workaround for the first part of the mission yet? I see some people saying they made it past the gates but so far it seems no matter what I do I can't get the gatekeeper to spawn after the first battle. Some have said if you die after this and respawn eventually the gatekeeper will spawn also but I have yet to see this happen.

    This saddens me as I went thru all of the FED side missions with no real glitches at all, even though now people are saying on the FED side the Night of the Comet mission is so bugged that you've got about a 1 in 20 chance of getting all the comet fragments to show up so they can be destroyed.

    I blame all of this on the patch on the 20th....I know some of these bugs have been traced back to before this but since this last patch it seems like these bugs have suddenly become viral and are now affecting far more people and/or occurring almost everytime someone plays a mission.

    It seems to be pure dumb luck which NPCs avoid the bug - I've had the gatekeeper survive to open the gates once out of about 5 attempts. None of my BOffs ever made it off the Barge though.

    I'll admit to getting a teensy little bit annoyed with this. It's been almost a week, this has been reported left, right and centre by multiple people and is (or at least appears to be) a game breaking bug. So much as a 'we're working on it'? Nope, but hey guys, look at the new lockbox...:mad:

    (I'm aware the people working on the lockbox probably aren't the same people that would be working on the maps/physics engine and that linking the new boxes and the bug is probably unfair as a result. Doesn't make it any less offensive that Cryptic/PWE are angling for more money while staying silent about how the game was seriously broken in the last patch, so I'm going to do it anyway).

    Same issue here, all my away team disappear and there is no gate opener. This is seriously disgusting, especially since so many people have complained and there's been no response from administration or Imperfect World on this.

    Updated the NPC pathing and spawning on several missions:
    Stranded in Space: USS Azura
    Barge of the Dead
    Shrine of Kahless
    Deep Space K-7
    Gates of Gre'thor.
    Starbase 157
    Khitomer Accord Ground
    The Kuvah'Magh
    Tutorial: Vega Ground
    Keep Your Enemies Closer
    Resolved an issue where players would not immediately receive their Transwarp powers from gaining Diplomacy or Marauder levels.
    Resolved an issue which prevented players that had not spent all of their skill points from receiving Diplomacy or Marauder transwarp abilities.
    The Acid Horta Hatchling no longer thinks it's made of crystal.
    Updated the comet in Night of the Comet so that all of the shards appear correctly.
    Resolved an issue with Fleet Banks where occasionally silver players would have problems making energy credit deposits.



    Systems:

    Increased the turn rate of the Aquarius by 1.
    Increased the Turn rate of the Escort, Escort Refit, Escort Retrofit and Fleet Escort Retrofit by 1.
    The Freighter can now choose S.S. registry Name prefix.
    The Vulcan D'Kyr can now choose V.S.S. registry Name prefix and a VS registry Number prefix.
    Added the Photonic Bridge Officer and DS9 Costume Pack to the Lobi Store inventory.
    Fixed the display name on a couple of Polaron Dual Beam Banks that thought they were Neutrino Deflectors.



    Known Issue:

    The turn rate debuff applied by the Warp Theorist Duty Officers through Tachyon Beam lasts longer than it should.

    I am stuck there as well.

    My Bridge officers kept drowning falling through floors getting lost etc. Same thing happened to the NPC's I lost Kahless for example. Not to mention my opponents. No opponents, no finsihing the mission.

    Very dissapointed by the bugginess of this game. :mad:
