New C-Store KDF Ship!!

Ok now that I have your attention: For some insane reason I want a new KDF c-store ship - it's really just a want thing - not a need thing.

Big Problem Number 1 - Cryptic shows little interest due to lack of profit return - leads to:

Big Problem Number 2 - From some/most of the other threads players ideas/wants are ALL over the map - not good if a Dev does stop by.

We need a thread where a ship is picked and then everyone and there dog can say "I will buy that if it comes out"

So is it possible to come out with just 1 ship that everyone would buy? If not this idea is doomed because Cryptic won't see the demand.

What should it be?

    I personally want an upgraded/retrofit Haj. It's easily my favorite. There's something that invokes Pterodactyl or other dino (I just woke up so way too early for big words :P ) images.

    T5 Tactical cruiser, preferably a D7 or Vorcha class.

    A t5 k'vort with a 4 fore 3 aft weapon layout , 3 device slots and single hanger for my orion interceptors. It is typically called a light cruiser so maybe 400 crew, a 1.1 shield mod, 25-27k hull with the b'rel or fleet norgh :) 4 universal stations. Reduce turn to 17-18 and reduce inertia to 50-60 to compensate. I would buy this as soon as it hit the c-store :)

    Just remember it can't be super OP or anything above what the Fed's have or there would be a hail storm of whinning and complaining from the majority feds which I don't think Cryptic would want to deal with. Just reality of the current situation.

    Start asking some of you friend/fleet mate - after awhile we could narrow it down to 4 or 5 the to just 2 and finally a winner.

    Note it HAS to be a ship that will sell really well or it will definitely be the last KDF ship produced.

    An actual Klingon (not Orion, Gorn, or Nausicaan, KLINGON) science ship. Sensor Analysis, Subsystem Targetting, the works like any other normal sci ship.

    Tier 5, 3/3 weapons, 4 sci consoles, 2 and 3 of the other console types respectively. Don't care what the rest is, as long as it's a true science ship. I prefer not to have it be C-store, but if it has to, it has to.

    Its already in the show, and already in the game. Just in a lot larger size. I say the K'Vort battle cruiser. Based off the Bird of Prey. I have all the main battle cruisers from the shows but that one. I would buy it before some Klingon ship never in the show.

    Yes on the K'vort, but how is it a light cruiser?:confused:
    On the contrary the IKS Gorkon Novels which are part of STO's backstory refer to it as a Heavy Cruiser.

    At 350 meters, this thing dwarfs the K't'inga.

    I guess that I will be number 5. I would kill many fed ships to have the K'vort. I already have the zen for it.

    But, I would also buy a Voodieh class cruiser (the Klingon ships seen in TNG All Good Things fighting the USS Pasteur and Future Enterprise). It's a shoe-in for a Negh'Var retrofit. Give it a spinal lance disruptor and we're away...

    We actually have the Voodieh class (the one with otu the pods) in the game.
    It's a Negh'var in name only.
    The actualy Negh'var with the pods is missing from the game.

    A Qin variant, with a wide-angle Dual Heavy Disruptor Cannon, and a mean skin based on the Birok, bristling with cannons off the hull akin to the Puyjaq. Oh, and reshuffle the console slots to give it 5 Tac, if only to keep up with the Feddies.

    EDIT: I've even got a name for it. Seeing as "QIn" is spearhead, "SeDveq" would be a glorious name for it: "barbed spearhead" (Source: KGT)

    1.) A c-store Tor'kaht with a very phat frontal disruptor. All my Vor'chas still are lacking the big disruptor.
    2.) K'Vort. It doesn't have to be the supersized mirror universe one. Just a good heavy BoP the size of a Hegh'ta. The TV show was very inconsistant when it came to BoP scaling.

    Add another talley to the K'vort.


    I believe that they were referred as Heavy Cruisers in TNG. Considering their physical shape and heavy cruiser status, I would prefer it as an up-gunned, up-armored bird of prey. IMO, that is better than making a weaker version of a battlecruiser.

    Oh yes, also, any new KDF ship that has a new weapons console, will make me happy too, especially anything disruptor based. :D

    Okay then, I'll clarify that I want a Negh'Var retrofit with improved stats and unique weapon called the Voodieh class and they can reskin the Negh'Var to what it should be. Heck, it took them ages to get the Galaxy right... maybe we can hope?

    I want a T5 K'Vort Class Battlecruiser/BOP... I want it as a C-STore purchase (which makes it an account unlock). It should be the perfect marriage of a BOP and a light cruiser (NOT a Raptor... a cruiser). Then I want a Fleet variant on same! :D

    I want new MISSION CONTENT for the KDF.
    All the shiney ships in the universe don't make doing the same missions for the 500th time any less boring.
    Besides...I own all the currently offered KDF ships except the B'rel and I can only fly one at a time.

    Me too! The K'Vort is a perfect idea for a Klingon Compliment for the Excelsior. It would be both a Tac ship and a cruiser, similar to what the Excel is (aka CMD ENG/LTC tac) and have Battle Cloak. The compromise would be that its hull specs and size would be more "BOP sized" (Maybe like 29500 Hull) to make up for its Boff slots combo and Battle Cloak.
