Diplomacy Rank 3 but no Transwarp or Diplomatic Immunity!

This was supposed to be fixed. And yes, I did "Update Commendation Records" for diplomacy. I got my Blue DOff, my first contact mission, and the CXP counter is progressing, but I have no option to transwarp to SB 39 Sierra nor do I have the ability to grant Diplomatic Immunity.

It took several months for this to be addressed last time -- to even be figured out. How long this time?

I also just noticed I have no transwarp to starbase option. My other characters have it, even though we haven't unlocked it yet.

What gives?

Just looked at my in-game log.

When I have gotten other ranks, like Engineering, there are two entries. One for the rank up, and one for the title. In the case of Diplomacy, I only got the title entry.

There's also an entry saying "Forjo has been promoted to" with no information other than the time/date. This shows up in the fleet log as well.

I just did a search in the log for "Commendation", and sure enough, every single other rank-up I've done is there -- there are 17 entries for various discliplines, but none for Diplomacy. And if I count up all of my ranks except for Diplomacy I get 17.

This is still not fixed!

If I remember right, you can go to Starfleet Academy and have them update the commendation records. That might fix the problem.

One of my toons made Ambassador, if I wouldnt have looked, I would have never known.. Didnt get squat for it.

No apology necessary. It happens.

I can also report that the retrait fix worked for me (reset all points, and respend all points with no remainder). It wasn't so bad, as I hadn't done it in a long time and with a greater undertanding or (and experience with) the system, I was able to maximize some things about my build. But I shouldn't have had to do this.

And I still think there's a problem with not seeing the diplomacy tier-ups in the accolade log.

Not to mention the fact that everytime someone in the fleet reaches a new commendation rank we get a mesage in the fleet log like this:

Forjo has been promoted to

With nothing after the word "to".

Can we please apply some polish to the game? I know there's a small staff, but it's piling up...

I was having the same issue, submitted a ticket, and got "update commendation records with Ferra" as the answer, which of course did nothing.

The problem has followed me to Diplomatic rank 4, where I received the uniform, title, DOff and BOff, but no transwarp to DS9. I am also missing the fleet starbase transwarp (button disabled or not).

Forjo, what was your Diplomacy rank before the DOff system was activated? It seems to me that if a character had already earned a transwarp power before that, then the game will not award any earned using CXP. That's just a theory, though.

I also have had problems assigning my last skill points. I have to wonder if these issues are somehow related. Still, I will try to respec with no remainder and see how that goes.

I am having the same issue on KDF side for marauder Rank 3. I have the title and the accolade for getting rank 3, but no transwarp abilities (other than Quonos, (I don't even have the ability to TW to the fleet starbase despite the fact my fleet has the Transwarp conduit thing finished)). Also I cannot enter Sirius sector block, nor do I have the ability to grant Raiding party. I also have been to see the Duty officer commendation officer at the academy to update my comendation records, which did absolutely nothing except waste my time.

It's nice to see this wasn't just a KDF thing.

If im not mistaken diplomatic immunity and the option to transward to Ds9 only unlocks at level 4.

The fleet starbase transwarp need to be finished before it is available.

Quick edit:

The fleet transwarp only unlocks after your fleet make the science upgrade. Not the main projects. If I recall, we had to do 2 upgrades on science before it was available.

Correction, you are right diplomatic immunity unlocks at level 3.

I don't know if you were replying to my post, but my fleet has the transwarp conduit project completed...my other characters in the same fleet have the ability to transwarp to the fleet starbase. Only this character (the bugged one) does not have that ability. Nor is this character able to transwarp ANYWHERE other than qonos.

Problem (possibly) solved! I'm not sure why it worked, but I respec'd using up all of my available skill points and my missing transwarp options and Diplomatic Immunity showed up after I switched maps.

If you have this issue (and an abundance of respec tokens), it may just solve your problem. It worked for me!

I have this problem on one of my characters (a KDF, oldest one I currently play). I'll have to see if respecing works to fix it.
I noticed he's got 500 unspent as well, so might as well, right?

I believe it was rank 2 before, but I'm not certain. I'm pretty sure I had the first transwarp, though.

There's still a bug there. People shouldn't have to respec to fix it.

All too true, but we are starting to see a pattern here, where the bug seems to affect older players with pre-DOff diplomatic ranks and unused skill points. I don't know why these are related, and can only guess it has to do with the respec forcing a refresh of the list of powers a character should have. This could point to the potential permanent fix. If a dev were to stumble into this thread, that is.

I posted the solution that is working for many people on July 28 in this thread. I am so glad this is working for everyone else. I haven't been on the boards for awhile since I posted.

I'm glad agentraz was able to point people in the right direction here. I came to the same conclusion that he did. Interested players may want to read over the linked thread on how I thought it is/was broken. I do recommend a complete respec if transwarps or Diplomatic Immunity is broken and skill points are not fully used.

Congrats to those who have fixed their characters!

yeah I'm still having this issue, Cryptic is obviously got diplomacy on the lowest of the totem pole of fixes, I had a ticket from back before season 6. Can't warp to S39 nor can I grant diplomatic immunity. Yes I have tried Cat boy back on SFA and no such luck. :mad:

This exact same Issue has happened to me. I first reported the Diplomacy Transwarp over 5 month ago(probably more like 7) and was told it would be fixed quickly. Well it has not. And today I was asking my Fleet Mates if they were having issues with Starbase Transwarp but they were not... and neither was my other toon.
