I've read through many threads in this section, and posted in some to reveal bugs that I have noticed. What I haven't noticed is a response from the developers. I think I remember a response in one thread where they said they realized there was a problem with the exchange, but then proceeded to not bother fixing it. In all the other threads, it's just people posting about bugs with no response from the devs. whatsoever.

Is this section just to make us think that they will work on bugs or do they actually view the threads to find out which bugs have been discovered? If they view them, why don't they acknowledge that they have done such with something along the lines of, "We will look into this," or "Unfortunately, this is not a high priority at the moment, but when we will look into when we have time," or "We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it," or "Hi, I'm a dev., and contrary to popular belief, we did not all die in a plane crash."

It's a player driven support forum. We try to help each other out. Staff have stated that the devs keep an eye out on it. *shrug* They seem to but rarely do they actually respond.

I;ve been saying that most of the time, the first time we see a response about a bug report, it's in the patch notes stating that an issue has been resolved.

There are eyes on these forums, but we don't post about every bug we fix. I know that I could try to communicate about every bug I fix on these forums, and that would take a lot of time away from fixing bugs. I do try to post every now and then though, but my posting about a bug being fixed here does not help you guys get that fix any faster, sadly.

Ok, thanks for the response. I'm glad to know that y'all are keeping an eye on this forum. The awkward dev. silence was beginning to freak me out. I'll continue to post bugs that I come across. Oh, and good to hear y'all didn't all die in a plane crash. ;)

As long as the "patch notes" for every patch, includes a FULL list of bugs that were fixed, you can be as quiet or as communicative as you want on the forums. Sometimes a bug gets fixed in a patch, with no word IN the notes stating it's been fixed. As a result, you have people coming to the forums saying "Fix x bug", when the bug has already been fixed. Having full documentation of each and every bug fixed in a patch, might cut down some of those forum inquiries/demands.

I think in the end, the forum is for the community. The Bug Report section is just to (try to) pool a lot of the negativity 'about Bugs' in one area, instead of spreading it across the whole forum.

Ps. Mike, your legs are awesome :D

At least I have some unlike other players here. Took like 20 minutes to get that shot. Never did get the arm right.

There's Devs? Such mythical creatures are so rare how would we know if we spotted an authentic one? Personally I don't believe they exist. This flyingtarg fellow is obviously a fraud.

What about the tailor situation. It's irked me greatly to the point where I'm not even going to play anymore until it's resolved and I can properly outfit my character and display his proper rank. I know it's a small thing, but it's important to me and many others from what I can imagine.

@sove: The Atlas seems to be a little to undersized compared to the Awesome IMO. but the rest of the game is really worth to get loose from STO ...

Mike knew the real answer to "What is the point of this forum?", and he was just about to tell us when the Illuminati ban hammer fell. The truth is out there and poor Mike is now on the run from the New World Order and maybe the Obsidian Order too. I am most certain he was going to link water fluoridation to the death of JFK. This would blow the top off the Roswell weather balloon cover up. Then the dominoes would begin to fall leaving us a clear trail back here to the STO PW forums.

Just for the record I have no alt account in this game.

I would have liked to discuss this issue with a member of Cryptic management but they were unwilling to respond.

Well don't feel alone Mike, I got one of my postings deleted and I can't even recall what I said. So how the heck am I supposed to know what I shouldn't say? This is like some weird form of censorship without the knowledge of what you are under arrest for... like the Cardassian judicial system.

Only difference is Brandon didn't pull my tooth. :D

I'm not worrying about it. Neither Cryptic nor PW is willing to discuss it. So be it.

I;m just another customer who will not spend money with this company again.

That's been fixed for two or three weeks now.

You better check your calendar. I could not change rank, fleet badge, etc. back when that was posted.
