My good friend and I have come back to STO after not playing for close to two years, we are both happy to see all the changes of the game and it has grown up since we last played. We both have noticed a few bugs in the game graphic issues like missing ranks on uniforms and small stuff; however the big issue is his character has not been receiving exp for any of the missions we have ran. I rerolled a new character but he decided to play his original Cryptic character from back when we first started. When he would mouse over the exp bar he would get an invalid object path error on his screen. His rank is listed as Lt. Cmd, but when trying to equip any gear he gets and error that he has not met the requirements of the item.
We sent in game bug reports and requested a GM request however nothing /no one has reached out to him on the matter. How long does it normally take for PW support to respond to these anyway?
Has anyone come a crossed this? or have any suggestions on how to correct it?
The tailor bug is something that just recently happened during a patch and c/pw is aware of the issue (as well as there are about a dozen threads on this subject.
And as for c/pw getting back to you on your ticket, ahahaha. It can take them months. Since your buddy was of a lower rank, i would suggest starting a new toon. Beware that some missions are bugged and others just plain won't complete. oh WB. give it time, they might fix stuff.
thanks for the feed back. I don't know how reassuring it was but a re-roll sounds like the best option at this point. sounds like the support of the game is at an all time sad state of affairs. good thing they collect money from all that free ZEN they promo throughout the game
