Tholian carrier and fleet ship modules

May be somebody knows something about it or already tried the tholian carrier upgrade with fleet ship modules.
Is it possible? And yes, what is the result?

    I don't think Grab-bag ships will ever make it to the fleet Stores... Too much money to be cheated out of the weak-minded with them.
    Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...

    Lockbox ships are already at the level of Fleet ships. How Fleet Ship purchases work is that you spend 20,000 Fleet Credits and 4 Fleet Ship Modules or 1 if you have bought the T5 C-Store version. You don't craft anything together or upgrade anything to get Fleet Ships. There is no upgrade for the Tholian Carrier and should have stats that are similar to Fleet Ships. You won't find a Fleet Version of any lockbox ship or most alien ships like the Atrox and D'Kyr. They might add alien ships in the future, but not lockbox ships.

    No they are not upgradable and its not how Fleet Ship Modules work.
    They are for use in purchasing Fleet Ships, not upgrading existing ships.

    Have a good read of the latest Dev Blog.
    Fleet Ship Modules ? Fleet Ship Modules can be purchased in the C-Store for ZEN and are needed to purchase all Fleet ships. Fleet ships typically cost 4 Fleet Ship Modules. However, if you already own the Tier 5 C-Store Version of a Fleet Ship, you will get a 75% Fleet Ship Module discount to purchase the Fleet version. For instance, the Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier costs Fleet Credits and 4 Fleet Ship Modules, but if you already own the C-Store Heavy Escort Carrier, the Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier will only cost Fleet Credits and ONE (1) Fleet Ship Module.

    Thank you all for the answers. It is fun, the Devs posted info about this on the same day.

    But from other side, I don't agree the box ships are equal with fleet ships. For example tholian carrier has only 2 tac slots only.

    Practically box ships are C-Store ships right now, because we need to buy the key. So I don't understand why they separate the alien ships from fleet ships. Also I think Pwe made a business mistake, because if I buy a box ship, then may be I would like to spend more money for parts for the ship. They needn't my money?

    Fleet ships are just ships that cost 4 Fleet Ship Modules or 1 depending on circumstance and have 10% more hull, 10% more shields, and consoles. Since Lockbox ships have 10 consoles, then they are on level with the Fleet Ships since there are no other counterparts of the lockbox ships to compare the shields and hull to. Boff Layout has absolutely no relevance to what determines a Fleet Ship over its T5 counterpart.

    As far as lockbox ships being C-Store ships, this is completely untrue. People can buy master keys and lockbox ships off of the exchange. C-Store ships need Zen to purchase them and I don't need to spend Zen to get a lockbox ship.

    Sorry, I cannot agree with you. I can change dilithium to Zen. It is all the same exchange or Dilithium exchange, same thing to collect dilithium or ec. Then I can buy C-Store ships by Zen.

    But my point of view, by Zen directly I can buy masterkey and dilithium. And lockbox for dilithium. All lockbox gives min 4 lobi crytal, so you can calculate the maximum price for a box ship. The only difference is between c-store and box ships are the number of the necesarry steps to get it. So lockbox ships are C-store ships practically. (or with the same way of thinking, all ships are ingame.)
