I haven't played in a few months, so I went through the account linking process, in which, of course, my name was taken already. That's fine.
I logged into the game after patching without a problem, all my characters are there.
Their ships have nothing on them anymore. No ship equipment to be found. Empty inventories. 0 EC on all my characters. They seem to have kept their dilithium and their GPL but threw all their EC away. And stripped their ships when I wasn't looking.
Each character's bank appears to be alright, too bad there's nothing of value in them.
So with no EC and my VA having lost all her purple ship items, I'm not very impressed. I put in a ticket but have little faith that I'll get anything back, judging by what I've been reading.
I have an Odyssey, Galaxy-X and a T5 Excelsior with no equipment. Strangely, I still have all my ground gear. My Commander-something alt is also stripped clean, but still has all her ground gear. Otherwise, I have nothing.
We have received word from the restoration team that they were not able to restore character and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I'll just assume I can't get anything back since I don't remember specifically exactly what I had equipped on my ships.

Submit a GM request to see what they can do. Sometimes they keep backups.
