Hearts And Minds is bugged and uncompletable or repeatable due to cooldown. If you fail the first puzzle, you get respawned into the room after the puzzle so you cannot finish the mission. The Devs usually say if something like this happens to just drop the mission and grab it again but if you do that with Hearts And Minds, the cooldown timer will make it so you cannot get the reward in the timeframe that this mission is running. They should give a warning that there is the ridiculous cooldown and fix this bug as I am sure other people are going to miss out on this DOFF character too by dropping this mission when they see that they can't complete it as that is what the Devs usually say to do when you have a bugged missions.

    And moving back to the spawn location and forward, through the 'decon chamber' never crossed your mind?

    Died and got respawned at the other side as well. Noticed that the "finish puzzle" trigger didn't fire, but did so after moving back and forth.

    Seems it's an area trigger you fire when passing through the opened door, but not if you respawn at the location you did.

    Moving around didn't do anything and I couldn't activate anything in the other rooms so that's why I followed the Devs tried and true method of dropping the mission to fix the problem and picking it up again but this time I got burned by that.

    I just like to add that if the player dies from the puzzle and respawn they would need to beam up to set reset the mission. Also I encountered a minor one time bug where I activated the console then moved down to take out Sibaks' clones but, the objective was stuck at activating the consoles when I went back and did that it was after I took out the clones so, I had to beam up and start all over. It was frusterating. Would it be possible to have the cooldown only initiate after sucessfully compliation of the mission? I can understand the cooldown so players can't grind the mission and all but, why should players get penalitized for dropping a mission and retake it when it bugs out? On a side note in the opening cutscene of the mission and the characters beam in my boff always starts out on the floor literally. I hope these issues are fixed before the next run of the mission.

    Hm, completed this with all 7 guys, np.
    But, I didn't die, either. :cool:
    Puzzle only takes like 3 clicks to solve, tho.
    2 row down, then top row rt a cple times and then 1st row down, tada!

    I died from the gas, respawned in the autopsy room, and the mission came off without a hitch for me.
