Freebie Odyssey can't use Veteran hull material

More specifically, attempting to select it (it's obviously a choice, and the material displays fine while in the menu) always results in it reverting to the previous choice.

    same with the bellerophon class...if you select veteran material it instantly jumps back to material 6.

    intrepid retrofit in general cant use it.

    what gives?

    Ditto with this Odyssey, at least the basic model. Hopefully it gets resolved: it looks cool for the second it can be seen.

    Yep. No luck applying it to the generic Odyssey. I'd like to be able to actually use one of my awards.

    Just saw it on a C-store oddyssey -- so is it a limitation of the free one?

    I'm wondering this myself. I had no problem putting it on the C-store oddy on Tribble (what can I say, I'm a "try before you buy" type of cap'n).
