If you check the features matrix for Free-to-Play vs. Gold, you will find that the stipend is technically "Promotional Points." That is, they are C-Points that can only be spent in STO. Since the "Zen Wallet" balance can be transferred to any PWE game, it is unlikely that they will give us Zen in the Zen Wallet. The stipend will likely always be added to your STO store balance so that it is always only spendable in STO.
That means that, until they convert the STO store, the Dilithium Exchange, and your STO C-Store store balance to Zen, you will probably continue to get your stipend in C-Points, and even after they do that conversion, it will be Zen that is added to your STO store balance rather than the Zen Wallet. Converting those to Zen will be a large undertaking, so I would not expect to see the stipend paid out in Zen until they implement Season 6, which is probably when they will convert the game prices to Zen.

if Tribble is any indication, it is exactly when they'll implement. The tacky Z icon is all over the place.
I resubbed today and I haven't seen any cpoints anywhere yet, 0 in the c-store. Does it take a couple of days or do I have to do something special to receive it?
A contract is a contract...(but only between Ferengi).
I normally get mine between the 3rd and 5th... 400 cp which I assume will be 500 zen when season 6 rolls out... I'm glad its getting switched to Zen... it will end all the threads of people thinking they're getting ripped off in the conversion
I?ve just signed up a month of Gold membership, when would I receive the stipend? Is it a set/random date or should it have been applied to the account once gold was activated. I cant see it anywhere.

Found it. :S Its showing loging intot he store through a browser but in game.
Thank you so much for posting this link! I was curious as to how much Zen I'd get per month (i.e. if it would've been adjusted for the price changes), but I don't get my stipend until around the 10th.
I consider myself quite a patient person, but I was still curious. You really helped me out; thanks again!
You simply look at your Zen total in the C-Store (in-game or on the website) and see if it's been increased.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
I believe the overall goal is to tie-in the Zen History under Account in the future, but since Cryptic and PW use two different systems for this it's going to require programming time to fully implement; and I don't expect to see that happen until after NWN is launched and some of the programmers currently on that team are freed-up.

I understand not giving out mass amounts of zen to lifers such as myself. However I'm getting sick of having to purchase more zen to get the new ship. Don't get me wrong nothing should be for free in order for this game to continue to grow. I just wish ships for lifetime members came at a heavily reduced rate......say your stipend for the month? I just hope they adjust pricing soon before my wife finds out how much I've spent on this game.

Ships did not come super-cheap before FTP. What makes you think they should come super-cheap now?
Before FTP every ship in the C-Store cost a Subscriber $10 - $25.00 on top of the Subscription fee. Since FTP each ship runs $5 - $25.00; plus you earn Zen that can give you additional discounts.
I'm not really seeing much of a price difference between now and a year ago. Plus you don't have to buy new ships. It's your choice if you want the fluff or not.

Only alteration to my account was to link it as apparently we're going to have to submit to that now. So old account and new name.

How do I go about checking out when and if I did ???
I wish they would sent me an email. Like DCUO is doing for their legendary members.
