Dont' do it. PvP in this game is unmitigated garbage. From the stacking of plasmotic leech with an occasional Aceton assimilator / energy siphon on the Klingon side to the now unholy pet spam fest on the Fed side (which 2 copies of bugged again FAW don't put a dent in). If getting blown away by that garbage is still not enough for you, wait there's more! Phaser procs, Chrono torps, tractor pets, energy siphon pets, and behind it all the crazy damage and great tanking of any pvp cookie cutter escort. yah!! wee!! Don't listen to the jobless basement dwellers that frequent these forums. Listen to me and the truth shall set you free of this trash pvp.

oh, and by the way, some of the better pvp'rs are professional adults that like trek and competitive gameplay.
and the escort is the hardest ship to fly in the game
and since i bet many of us have never heard of you.....wait.....what did you come here to do? insult everyone?
its true, a lot of that stuff can seriously reduce enjoyment sometimes, but it just makes it all the more satisfying when you come out on top in a fight against it, throw all that TRIBBLE back in their faces by out playing them, and out playing them legitimately.

But..but... some of us Jobless, Basement Dwellers who frequent these forums can actually give good advice and help players like your self go from Nub to scrub to some one that others make topics like this about.

To me PVP is about community. For the most part, I like mine. Sure it needs a little shine here or there, but doesn't everything?

the combination of anyone being able to post, and the lack of report button is truly a masterful combination. they have so many games, and so many boards, this really hasn't been a problem on any of those yet?

i did use PVP primarily to test out how well a new ship build is working. now that i am getting more into escorts i do pvp more. i might even take my new cruiser build in pvp.
There is not much else to do with PVE once you get your MACO shields and borg set, only thing left to do in this game is pvp after.
Try rolling a KDF Tac and get in a BOP and cruise around Kerrat, you may enjoy it:)

PWE forums are terribly awesome! It's like the wild west. I wonder if this is a real live boy or just somebody's sock puppet? I guess bobbilly, bobbilly1, and bobbilly2 were taken?
The cookie cutter reference makes me think it's a sock. Who could read that guide and still be unable to achieve at least moderate success in PvP?
Also, were I jobless I'd be absent from the forum.

When you think your a bad TRIBBLE, you go try out PvP without being prepared for the intensity of player versus player combat
When your unprepared for PvP you get your bad TRIBBLE handed to you quickly and repeatedly.
When you get your bad TRIBBLE handed to you quickly and repeatedly you go to the forums to rage about it to others.
When you rage about PvP other players poke fun at you for not being prepared and raging about dying on the forums
Don't give other players the chance to poke fun at you about being unprepared for PvP
Get some advice and stop being a rager.

Yup, PWE forum does not come with "report" buttons. So the mods would have to read everything and all that is written on the forum in order to do efficient moderating. This would take the whole cryptic crew...
So for now (until cryptic goes to the zen store and buys a report button upgrade) only those threads that happen to be read by a dev/mod will be moderated.
at least all parties involved have their big boy pants pulled up high enough to not need to go tattle on people for being mean to them on the internet.

Plasmonic leach stacking is TRIBBLE..
Aceton assimilator teams suck... It really forces the other team to bring something against it--
Energy siphon you mean the bo is actually really bad and if you mean the pets yeah they can ruin alot of fun unless you manage to clear it.
Carrier pet spam isn't really a fed only problem I guess you never just really played kdf teams with 2-3 carriers.
Faw is bugged but it does now less damage then it should just to make it clear.
Phaser procs is too powerful to be sure 5 players using it.. and why shouldn't you its the best weapon type but not by much and if everyone on the other team use phaser resist plates the other weapon types become better.
Chroniton torps.. yeah Issue is being resolved, its been like this sence the begining of the game.
Tractor pets, yeah those should cost someone their job to be honest, can't really play anymore without having Tractor beam protection. (Omega, Polarize hull and TBR)
Crazy damage and great tanking, from cookie cutter escort well atleast they are the ones that are fun to play imo.
I guess most of your points are half valid thing is pvp in this game sometimes is good even with all this bad TRIBBLE.
